I already got the Samsung 226bw S-panel. But I'm thinking of changing to Samsung 2232GW for its glossy screen. Does the 2232GW got S, C or A panels like the 226bw? If got, how to tell? |

Here's a link comparing the samsung 2232gw and 226bw:
http://product.it.21cn.com/group/28/84_27210.html but it is in chinese so I don't understand. Can someone translate the result/conclusion of the performance? This post has been edited by 3AAA: Aug 28 2007, 09:46 AM |

QUOTE(laguna1811 @ Aug 28 2007, 09:32 AM) conclusion is more ppl would choose 2232gw It does support HD but not full HD since its resolution is up to 1680x1050. It does support HDCP, can connect to a HDMI port using HDMI to DVI cable.Added on August 28, 2007, 3:15 pmbtw, does 226bw support HD? This post has been edited by 3AAA: Aug 28 2007, 04:33 PM |

QUOTE(xpresside @ Sep 2 2007, 06:11 PM) 2232bw n 226bw price the same when i bought 2232bw at digital mall I think the 2232Bw and the 226bw are the same.what does the article says?only difference i see is 32bw whole monitor black ,26bw bottom silver color? But comparing to 2232Gw is different, which I think is mainly due to the glossy screen. |

I just purchase the Hp w2207 LCD, and I have to say, the monitor is outstanding. Just bofore, I was using the Samsung 226bw (S-Panel).
From my eyes, the performance of the w2207 seems to be better in every way. It got hardly no back-lit beeding. The Black is really black. The color is deeper. The screen is viewable at a wide angle without lost in quality. The stand is very flexible to adjust. Got 1:1. I'm glad that I changed to this monitor, even though it was the most expensive out of the 22 incher at the shop. So far I've only used it with xbox360 and dvd player through vga. QUOTE(steventan85 @ Sep 4 2007, 11:34 AM) I bought it at rm1199. That's the cheapest I can find after wondering around kl.QUOTE(laguna1811 @ Sep 4 2007, 12:05 PM) Both support HD, but not full HD. Both support HDCP.What I mention earlier about the w2207 is base on my point of view. You should see it at shop yourself or try googling and see what others have to say. There are also websites that compare w2207 and 226bw side by side. Here's some pic I capture with Handphone camera(quality pic not so good): ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by 3AAA: Sep 4 2007, 01:42 PM |

QUOTE(ashx @ Sep 11 2007, 05:38 PM) Well it seems that some unfortunately got the China treatment I think if it is made in china it does not confirm that it is a C panel. There are some S panels that are made in China. Need to check in the hidden menu or open up the bezel in order to confirm it. This post has been edited by 3AAA: Sep 12 2007, 03:06 PM |
