Personally will choose lg7500 as the Samsung model u saying older model than LG. Color wise I feel LG better.. the best u go to the shop and see yourself...

Yeapz... Better to see both TV screens with my eyes at retail stores before deciding which one to go with.. Hoping for a good Raya promo sale for those TV's..
Says LG is better in response time and hence watching sports. And also reflection.
But Samsung still is better in contrasts and black uniformity.
Yeah based on my little research... Samsung definitely wins in better contrasts and black uniformity in dark scenes / dim room. LG wins on reflection and wide angle viewing as well..

Call me bias. Do people really watch TV in a dim room ? Probably only in theater set up. But in living room, the sofa seats are normally placed along the perimeter of a rectangle. So it is important to be able to watch TV from the side.

Perhaps I got the term and actual meaning wrong in my earlier post.. I was actually referring a dim living room at night while watching with the lights off.. This is when the deep contrast and black uniformity comes into play especially during dark movie scenes.
On the 2nd point yeah you are right there about the sofa seat arrangements from the TV placement where wide angle viewing could play an important role..
Just sharing a good TV comparison website which I stumbled upon for those interested in getting new TV's.
There's a table comparison as well from the low end to the high end TV models from all the popular brands such as SAMSUNG, SHARP, LG, SONY which could be useful before deciding your next TV.
Even the LG sk8000 ( one step higher than the uk series ) cannot compare to Samsung nu7100 in contrast and black uniformity.
I can't seem to find the LG UK7500 model at any physical retail shops (Senq, harvey norman, senheng) here at Penang before proceeding to pull the trigger with my purchase.

Chart is wrong , UK6500 is not a WRGB TV
wRGB is not the same as RGBW . The UK6500 is neither .
