Have a LS03 The Frame, recently need to on/off the TV (using remote) at least 2 times before it connects to WiFi.

Network equipment is the same, and router is basically just above the TV so should not be signal interference. Tried a hard reset on the TV and router, but still the same issue.

No a big problem for me, but staying with some elderly folk who sometimes forget to try "turning if off and on again". Might need to get Astro if the problem persists sad.gif

The QE1D is the entry level QLED? Any good? Or the DU8500 Cystal LCD is better value?

According to the review, its almost identical compared to QN85C. But our QN85C already comes with VA panel, so I believe its even harder to see any difference compared to QN85D

It seems so from the pricing. QN90D 65" can be bought for 7.3k now if you have access to the EPP store. I bought my QN85C last year Aug for 7.5k... during that time the QN95C which is the flagship QN for 2023 was still around 9k+

Finally bit the bullet and bought a 65" S95D. Currently enjoying the super bright panel, but at times can be too bright, and most of all, my family doesn't have to suffer sitting awkwardly trying to view the show with the reflection of lights in the background.

I found the Stremio app in my Tizen app store today... immediately proceed to setup Torrentio + Real Debrid following the guide from Reddit (not sure if I can link it here since it involves jack sparrow activity). A quick google search will bring you the result anyway

Immediate impression, the app is straightforward to use and understand. But its not as smooth as the youtube or netflix app, there's some minor lag if you scroll fast and the animations are not as smooth. Still its usable and the most important thing is it works.... and it does well

To test my setup I went to search for a John Wick 4 stream with 4K HDR10+. Took few secs for the stream to start and after it does there was no buffering at all until the end of the movie (on Unifi 300mbps wifi). The image quality.... there's no QD OLED here but I'm still blown by it. And yes can confirm HDR10+ is working after checking the quick settings icon. Subtitles working fine as well

Was thinking to get a Chromecast for this but I think I'll save the money now. Also gonna cancel my Netflix subscription

Do note you also can watch without RD, but it will load and buffer much longer

How do you guys find Stremio + Torrentio + RD so far? Do you guys use VPN to watch it on TV? From what I understand the quality is better than other streaming services like Netflix etc. because the file size is large for 4K Dolby Vision/HDR10+. Would our local ISP detect anything? And also, do you guys pay for RD with credit card?

RealDebrid giving me less headache lately since their nearest server is in Singapore. It is all down to how the routing is due to broken undersea cable. Back then Aldebrid doing really well

I just paid for one month Real Debrid to test it out. When you guys select the movie/series and then the 'torrent/source', do you always select the first one? Sometimes the first one is the largest file size but sometimes it's not?

I still keep my Netflix because certain shows like documentary or anime might not have good quality streams from torrentio (not enough seeders)

Other than that, everything else I watch on Stremio

I scroll through it, usually i just choose the one with highest seeder count (you can set this in the settings so it always sort by the highest seeder stream first). But take note that Samsung TV doesnt support DTS, so certain bluray remux will play without any audio. Have to find one with Dolby Atmos or 5.1

Wait I thought seeder count does not matter for RD+ since it's all cached already?

I also see what you mean with the audio, but I notice sometimes they don't label the audio in the information of the source, so need to pick one by one to see which one will have audio lol.

This I cannot answer, not that deep into the technical side also

Generally I will just choose the stream that mentions 'remux and dolby' in the name. And of course file size I assume bigger the better
