currently eye-ing 43" Sero (QA43LS05BBK) as a bedroom TV since it's on promo @ RM4.4k
main draw for me, is that it has it's own stand and with The Sero Wheel attachment flexible to move it around. I've another TV downstairs mounted on a mobile TV stand but it looks really clunky / industrial like to put in a bedroom. just wanted to see what other's think of the Sero specs in 2023 since it's a 2020 TV ? 43" is pretty small, but my bedroom isn't big anyway and definitely better than looking at a phone screen Is it a good buy compared with what else I could get for RM4.4k ? Samsung 43" QLED Sero @ RM4.4k Samsung 43" QLED Frame @ RM3k Samsung 55"QLED Frame @ RM4.7k Samsung 55" CU8500 @ RM2.9k Samsung 65" CU7100 @ RM2.8k EDIT: just read some reviews, and some mentioned a Sero 2 (2022) version ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9L3Cbwmfcc Should I hold off / ask for more discount ? Or is it the same ? This post has been edited by corad: Sep 8 2023, 08:21 PM |

planing to get a TV for the bedroom. Have about 15ft (4.5m) space between me and the TV, what size should I get ? Currently thinking 75" ?
Assuming 75" is the right size, any recommendations on TV cabinet ? planing to put a game console and speaker (either sonos soundbar, 2.0 or 2.1) in there as well. Reason for the cabinet instead of wall mounted is because I plan to add wheels to the TV cabinet. So I can move it in and out if needed (between family hall and bedroom). Don't want to get 2 TVs so this lets me play games / chill in bed if I want to |

QUOTE(vapanel @ Dec 9 2023, 10:23 AM) I got 85" for 3meter distance and it's already just ok So 75" is not enough for 4 meter. So either get 85" or better still 98". QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Dec 11 2023, 05:25 PM) use this calculator thanks ! but I'm also concerned if too big will it be easy to move https://www.the-home-cinema-guide.com/tv-vi...g-distance.html minimum 85" is better for your distance been trying to look for movable tv benches but so far haven't found any. was thinking of just getting 1 from IKEA and adding wheels to it , just checking if anyone else has done something similar for advice ? EDIT: might be going for The Frame 65 (QA65LS03BAK) @ RM6k. Reasons being : Matt Screen, Gold Bezel (addon) and the separate "input box" so only 1 wire to the TV, while the console & speakers plug into the box (any other TV have this feature ? ) This post has been edited by corad: Dec 13 2023, 01:55 PM |

Have a LS03 The Frame, recently need to on/off the TV (using remote) at least 2 times before it connects to WiFi.
Network equipment is the same, and router is basically just above the TV so should not be signal interference. Tried a hard reset on the TV and router, but still the same issue. No a big problem for me, but staying with some elderly folk who sometimes forget to try "turning if off and on again". Might need to get Astro if the problem persists |

anyone with a Samsung S90 or S95 ?
in my use case, I'll be putting this TV in the bedroom to replace a 2022 Samsung The Frame, one special thing I liked about Frame is that it hardly had any reflection when powered off most likely due to the matt screen. because I have some LED lights from aircond/air purifier/phone charger and not having them reflect off the screen when sleeping is really a game changer. I know the S95 has the same matt screen as the Frame but honestly not really willing to spend that extra based on every review that place S90 above S95 in price vs features. Unfortunately I don't stay in a major city so no chance to view these 2 screens in my local showrooms. haven't been able to find any review that shows clearly what the screen of S90 or S95 looks like when powered off ....
