If you are in the line of dealing with consumers, then all these issues would have already been taken into considerations. So, trying to paint a nightmare scenario for Microsoft is like telling them what they already know.

As for hackers going for a new mod, for those who don't think it will happen, big DOH to you. Its always been known that hackers will always try to best the big corporations which have been "stifling" their freedom.

But hackers churning out more mods or the possibility of an underground Live service should not stop Microsoft from doing all they can to combat piracy.

...because of your blind faith in previous firmware, that's why you were so pissed with the banning. Otherwise, no modders would be piss. Previously there promise a new firmware that will get you safe from the banhammer, but they still get ban. It's a never ending cat & mouse game like labbit said.

Before i close this thread i have to make myself clear here.

1. This is **Gamers Hideout Rules and Regulations**, we were once under them. For now we take reference from their R&R until we got ours. We are still working on it.

2. Mod or unmod, just don't promote or try to justify pirated is right in anyway. It's like how you can't twist a police is bad generally. Now we don't even have a proper homebrew scene for 360 yet (like XBMC), so you are supporting pirates, not the modders.

3. If you don't promote anything pirates, rest assure nobody will bother with you being a pirate. Just focus on gaming & everyone can co-exist with each other.

4. If you are so keen on modding, since xb360 homebrew isn't well develop yet...why not try the PC? That's a real open platform.
