Sure you can use back your own modem, as long as it supports ADSL2+ modulation standard.

Meaning there is no P2P Throttling yet
 for this new 4mbps promotion package; so online gaming pinging theoritically should be faster rite....? 4096/8 => 512KBps - Overhead ~= 490KBps+- IMHO, if RM198 per month for [BT + Surfing + Online Gaming + Video Streaming] within 350kbps+- abit not worth; the ideal one should around 450KBps+-. But heck with tat BEST Effort policy what can we do, sigh  |

I'm not even going to bother with this. 4.0. I can hardly load any websites at home on my 1.0 line. And we're talking freshly rebooted computer, firefox on trying to load soccernet.com That's right. Embarrassing. |

Well I applied for this 4MB and since you have to change the username, they terminated my 1MB account. Now I can't access my internet and dunno when they are gonna install this 4MB. Wasn't told that they're gonna shut down my 1MB account while waiting.
Anyone who is applying, ask them about the account termination. It might happen to you too. |
