10000 subscriber x 75kbps = 750 000, almost = 750mbps make more $$$

As for bandwithd my mistake TM Net has pleanty of bandwith, that's why I'm getting average 22Kb/s for my 1Mb package and getting 25%-50% package loss, getting blank webpage and have reload webpages constantly. Yes it was my mistake TM Net has the bandwith they just decide to screw me and others in order to give speed for their 4Mb package. One thing is for sure 4Mb package will be fast and the service good all this is need to con people into signing up. THen after 1-2 years or so they'll be another Topic TM Net limmitng 4Mb line after they oversubscribed this package which should happen in 1 -2 years time

Are they going to make their limited bandwidth exploding??? Adding more subscribers to "share" the limited "pipe of water"?

I bet after after you upgrade to 4mbps you go to youtube you still get 20~60kbps most of the time. Play online game still very lag hit the monster need to wait few second only the monster will be hit.

Why government doesn't do anything on this??? Say want to improve ICT. But let this tmnet slow us down. Just let this tmnet cr@p on us. Can't this government just set up it's own isp or force open the phone line so other company can come in?

It won't make a difference since your line is capped at 1024kbps downstream and also the DSLAM is connected to the ATM network and not the Metro.E 1Gbps network.

First of all I keep saying the 4Mb line will be fast, the service will very good. These all required to con people into signing on. Why would I want to try this package when I know it will be fast. That's not the point

People keep complaing why Tm Net doesn't improve , can't we do anything ??. Why would TM NEt want to improve when Malaysian are so gullible to take their package. When they can feed the consumer aload of BS and get away with it. People you want to show Tm Net your power now is the time. Show TM Net we do not forget. Do not allow these bastards to make more money off us. Send them a message improve your service to your exsisting customer before offering new packages or taking on more customers.

Speed of service is on 'best effort basis'.
Customers are not allowed to downgrade during the minimum subscription period.

Meaning RM2539 burn no matter what. So tell me what are going to do when TM Net pulls the same stunt as they did with the 1Mb line ?

Our experience with Streamyx has made us like that. Only last night after almost one month was my line stable enough for me download and surf.

Like the saying goes, "Once bitten, twice shy". In my opinion, TMNet does not need to spend so much on any advertising for whatever package they have because advertising by word of mouth (or in forums) is cheaper (FREE) if their service is up to standard. As it is now, they probably spend more money on advertisements which could be better spent on upgrading the service.

Just my 0.02sen opinion.

well according to some the 4mbps is a separated system, that is connected to the metro-e network with its own dslam, not like the normal streamyx users which are connected to the atm network...

check a few pages back there is a dude name rayfoo that has the service already and he also showed us some bt download speed and all..
its all good and delicious but what we want, is it worth getting it , in long run will quality of service ended up like the streamyx that we have ?

we'll just have to wait then

They never did research before releasing, they think an average single person would signup for this (some might as some in forum have already done) but this package is more targeted towards those people who rent the same home and share the same line among themselves.

if TMNut wish to gain their reputation,why don't they maintain the existing services to make ue satisfies?

with my experience, the 4MB is the biggest lie.

unless they can prove that with our 1MB or 512KB subscribtion is worthy.

dun u know that this is their masterplan? they make sub 1.5MB and below as crappy as possible, forcing u to upgrade to 4MB for the good stuff. it happens not only here, but across the rest of the world.

IMHO, i dun think think TMNut would want to screw up on the 4MB plan as they r already up to their noses in shit. one more screw up (or complaints from half the population) will definitely hammer the final nail into their coffin.

so give them a chance first for this. after all, it's "so far so good".

Why can metrofon offer 2 mb broadband, fiber optics ( ftte ) for rm 60, whereas tmnut offers 1 mb adsl ( this isn't even adsl 2 ) for rm 88 ..... dude.

Why can AirAsia put Mas to shame but metrofon can't put tmnut to shame ? Cause tmnut is a more worse monopoly then mas is.
