So will the VPN providers increase the pricing since they will have to accommodate the customer with 4Mbps rather than 1Mbps?

It's good that they don't provide us with broadband over 8Mbps cuz we all know the services they give us, on the darkside.. 4Mbps for RM250+ is totally ridiculous.

Still not really top notch for 4Mbps to be giving 360Kb/s. Do much tests and most importantly the latency but i don't think it will be any different since Rayfoo is on the same gateway as us.

They never did research before releasing, they think an average single person would signup for this (some might as some in forum have already done) but this package is more targeted towards those people who rent the same home and share the same line among themselves.

QUOTE(bem69 @ May 29 2007, 11:00 PM) dragna, I didn't know thats the procedure and the least they could do is inform me about the closure. They did state it out at the ToC but might not have been very clear with their words."10# For existing customers who want to upgrade to Streamyx 4.0 Mbps, new modem and new login name will be provided. Service interruption will occur, for a maximum period of 2 working days." |

They better rebrand it and not use Streamyx for the name.

QUOTE(MX510 @ Nov 3 2008, 03:26 PM) I just signup for 4 Mbps today for Streamyx Combo will update the progress even if there's no 4 Mbps supported at my residential area and it's not fibre optic . I think the line can support max up to 8 Mbit here because last time the TM Guy plug the tester showing me the maximum speed can the line can be supported. I also want to know what did you tell them to get them to believe that your house supports 4Mbps. I know some of us had our lines to 8Mbps back then but now even telling them they won't allow us to register the 4Mbps. |
