I saw some youtube comments on starting the Persona/Iriz, according to the video uploader (may be some SA), he said better press the start button 2 times before pressing the brake pedal and start the car. Basically, he's asking to enter full accessory mode before starting the car. His reason is to jaga the electronics. Is this true?

Just change my Proton iriz 1.3 MT battery after 2 years and 6 month since.  Change ti wet battery since much cheaper.  The question is... EPS notification appear..i change the batery by myself.. Could otai2 help. Me

Well thenpart that tore was high up if u sit in the seat. Middle back. So couldn't be because of user. Being a 2015 exec. They said no stock for my type of cloth seat. So i just accepted the half leather seat so i dont have to sit with metal poking my back.

1) I used PS3 and PS4 for my previous cars.
2) I already know PS3 capabilities, that's why out showroom, straight change to PS3.
3) My stock tyre still have value, so why not trade in 

I love PS3 handling and wet grip. Silent than stock tyre of course...

I complained this to Silverstone.
They sent 2 of their personnel to come have a look then warranty the tyre. Got 90% discount on my replacement. 🤭
This was within the 3 year warranty right?

if you have try start without press the brake, the screen would shows some messages... but not this time
Screen still show the same screen...

wow and so far theres no major problems with the car? that makes me thinking of surveying for 2nd hand car instead of buying new but im no car person. How to know whether the seller/car is reliable or not. Lots of good price online for the car but yeah advertisement vs actual condition can be deceiving.

My iriz 1.6 has fuel consumption of RM0.21/km which i think are quite high for such small car?

After a week I found out :
- initial pick up is actually slower than myvi 1.5 maybe because of the car is heavier
- suspension and comfort in the car is sooo good, personally think it is better than honda city
- driver side window has squeaky sound, anybody know why?

Oh ya, forgot to mention the sensors are terrible. So slow and not sensitive! Anyone facing that too?

Was looking at carlist for the discontinued 1.6 Manual and also Satria neo 1.6 Manual (non r3 bodykit).

More like wanted to have a manual car to drive around and occasionally rempit here and there.

Not interested in modding, perhaps at most going for better/lighther 15 inch wheel and better tires.

Not sure any members here have drove both and able to give feedback of pros and cons of the following:

What My observation of both car:
-Iriz is newer model for sure.
-Iriz dimension is more compact than satria
-Iriz only front disc equiped while Satria is all round disk.
-Is Iriz supposedly lighter than satria? Knowing Iriz chassis is more rigid due to construction.
-Iriz have more safety standard than satria.
-Most satria on used market were modded in way or so. Not sure really mint unit can be found

Do i miss anything?

Also, I am curious about this:
If under hard driving does satria brake will be more efficient over long run vs iriz front disk rear drum setup? Brake fake.

Just had my 1st long trip with the car last week, no drama what so ever. Great handling, great nvh, engine noise barely audible until you rev it over 3k rpm which is over 110km/h @5th gear.
I was originally worried about climbing Cameron Highland but i was wrong, took it like a champ with 4 peoples on board. Plenty of power on 3rd and 4th gear unless the engine rev is below 2.2k.

Oh... another thing is EPS warning sign will come out if you disconnecting your battery, and you need reset your steering as guideline given in Owner's Manual page 74.

Not sure if all their safety features really efficient. The axia AV has this so called A.S.A 2.0
It should alert & stop the car to prevent collision..
However, the perodua sales person himself dont have confidence in that.. i purpose drove the axia towards another myvi to make sure their A.S.A works, but not impressed.. the speed not even 15km/h... no warning sound... till the perodua guy got out from the car & walk closely infront..
Also, he is not dare to test it, but keep saying they tested (against cardboard boxes) and it works.... damn i'll be on the road with cars, not cardboards tho...

Recently the passenger side glove compartment has been rattling quite loudly when the road surface is rough or uneven (which is most of the time actually). Could someone point me to the DIY guide of how to resolve this? It doesn't seem to be listed on the first page.

According to booklet, 10k mileage only go 2nd service.
But now 6k only, it already prompt me go service.
So mileage or time?
