QUOTE(wira_laju @ Jul 18 2018, 07:58 PM) 1.6 MT is rare since it was limited production run item. Dont forget to check engine oil too. Some guy bought saga vvt and later realized the original owner never serviced the car before for 128k mileage. Engine sounded like a truck. |

QUOTE(yadea @ Jul 18 2018, 03:01 PM) Iriz is more like a fun car to drive. Saga on the other hand is more handy as it has more boot space. Old saga has been improved since BLM era where they now added front strut bar so that it rolls less but i still doubt that it will corner as well as Iriz stock vs stock. hear, hearif car that is fun to drive is at the very top of your priority, get the Iriz.. else, Saga is more convenient.. |

QUOTE(Exynos9 @ Jul 21 2018, 07:14 PM) I recently bought one and collected my iriz MC premium 1.6 yesterday. So far there is rattling sound on the dashboard whenever I drive through uneven surface and rattling sound from the third brake light. Well my myvi is plague with the third brake rattling issue so im used to it. The dashboard rattling can be annoying at times. But we all know this is a common issue for the iriz and persona. And the wind noise above 80km/h.Other than that the car is very nice to drive. Very much nicer than my 1.3 SE Myvi. Now just need to figure out how to maintain the leather / fake leather seats. I saw some posting that the SC is able to fix the wind noise issue. I wonder what they do to fix the issue? In respect of the rattling dashboard and third brake light I think I will bear with it. After all we know that its a RM50k plus and cant expect much. I dont wanna risj SC scratching the dashboard or making the rattling sound worse. In relation to the third brake light for my myvi, perodua SC went and put glue on it and the thing still rattles. I DIY and inserted some sponge here and there to minimize rattling helps a bit. But for the iriz, I will bear with it la... This post has been edited by seale_navy: Jul 21 2018, 07:42 PM |

QUOTE(WiLeKiyO @ Jun 9 2018, 12:15 PM) Thanks for the information. Hi Bro, have you changed the speaker already ? Which brand and model you went for ? I think I will only go with coaxial speakers because I don't want 2 tweeters on my dashboard, and a subwoofer is too much. I'm not looking for like next level sound quality, I just some something less flat. Stock speakers on Iriz is really potong stim. I have my eyes on this https://www.edifier.com/my/en/car-audio/g65...nt-car-speakers But not sure if the speakers fit on Iriz or it needs some modification on HU. Add: How do I check the maximum output for Proton Iriz HU? I checked with Edifier and according to them, they do not have any speaker model that is plug-and-play with Proton Iriz. All of them need certain level of modification on the door panel that needs to cut open a hole for the speaker. Is that the case ? Maybe sifus here can give me some idea which brand and model are PnP with Iriz door panel ? Look to go for passive component speaker set + active underseat subwoofer. Any recommendation ? |

Go on youtube, look for "roda pusing" channel in respect of their persona RQ project. Based on the video, clarion speaker is plug and playI checked with Edifier and according to them, they do not have any speaker model that is plug-and-play with Proton Iriz. QUOTE(WjLye @ Jul 24 2018, 11:33 AM) Hi Bro, have you changed the speaker already ? Which brand and model you went for ? Truly PnP need 6" speaker set. Unfortunately it's unpopular size so rarer to find major brands carry this option. I've seen pioneer to have it but no extensive line ups choice to pick like common 6.5".I checked with Edifier and according to them, they do not have any speaker model that is plug-and-play with Proton Iriz. Local brand like Mohawk do have one marketed especially for iriz. But 0.25~0.5" difference is not that much to have to resort to cut a hole... I know as I myself use 6.5", they only use plastic spacer then drill new screws few mm's apart. |
