I recently bought one and collected my iriz MC premium 1.6 yesterday. So far there is rattling sound on the dashboard whenever I drive through uneven surface and rattling sound from the third brake light. Well my myvi is plague with the third brake rattling issue so im used to it. The dashboard rattling can be annoying at times. But we all know this is a common issue for the iriz and persona. And the wind noise above 80km/h.

Other than that the car is very nice to drive. Very much nicer than my 1.3 SE Myvi.

Now just need to figure out how to maintain the leather / fake leather seats. I saw some posting that the SC is able to fix the wind noise issue. I wonder what they do to fix the issue?

In respect of the rattling dashboard and third brake light I think I will bear with it. After all we know that its a RM50k plus and cant expect much. I dont wanna risj SC scratching the dashboard or making the rattling sound worse.

In relation to the third brake light for my myvi, perodua SC went and put glue on it and the thing still rattles. I DIY and inserted some sponge here and there to minimize rattling helps a bit.

But for the iriz, I will bear with it la...

Ricky300 - which SC did you sent to? Senaxis in PJ? What about the workmanship? Scratched dashboard?

Hi you may opt for clarion speakers. Go on youtube, look for "roda pusing" channel in respect of their persona RQ project. Based on the video, clarion speaker is plug and play

thanks Jescon. I am the owner of an iriz 2018 minor change 1. the reason why I am asking is because im trying to get proton to replace my dashboard with the new dashboard design with a hope that these resolves the rattling issue.

Mine is rattling sound underneath the front passenger dashboard area and at the radio and at the aircon knobs area.

B Pillar is rattling as well on uneven roads.

May i ask if your iriz is the 2019 iriz?

I think the service centre has a valid point. I changed to the entry level FB brand battery, i feel the CVT is sluggish every morning. Only when the cars warms up or driven longer then I feel it is more alive.

I think I will go for century ultramax 55b24RS battery next. High CCA.

What do you guys think? Anyone experience the same issue?

do you feel a better response now with a higher grade battery? no more gearbox sluggishness?
