i see what you mean, this aftermarket custom design tail lights with the usual luxury-ish diffused led bar and also light tubes.
Yup sad case for us, the best i saw is clear smoked version of original design only yet the same generation axia got few variants already. Probably the manufacturer does not see much potential in sales for us or there were actually less demand from the current owners. They must have conducted some kind of market study to decide on this.

Which tell us something, is our car really perceived as an unpopular in overall despite all the hype and publicity? Forget about custom tail lights, even custom window shades also near non-existent compare to other model. closest persona vvt also got.

well, no matter wat perodua come out, custom or 3rd party parts will immediately available, as for proton one.. erm.. not much of choice i would say, if any.

I have seen users in other iriz communities using customized headlamps with integrated drl which turns into animated turn signals. As for directly buy off the shelf type, nope.

i've seen a couple of front head lamp custom design but not rear tail lamp..

what market study? even avanza got..stupid study..haha

Hi Sifusss, anyone did their audio upgrade without tapping original manufacturer wire?
Possible to use any harness to connect in between?
Went to accessory shop to change speaker and before I realised they already tapped the wire and they say upgrade speaker sure need to tap wire.
But I've seen some connector/harness on Lazada before. Wonder if it's possible.
Coincidentally, 2 days after my audio job, today when I tried to start the car, the aircon and windows both kong.
Aircon no air at all, not even blower.
Windows all 4 cannot move.

Worried if it's cause by the audio job. :'(

Usually if change speaker the cut the end of the stock connection near speaker.

Probably bad ground on the connections they made..

Changed head unit and speaker.
But headunit I made a point not to tap original wire, so they found a socket for the wiring.
But when change speaker, I notice they tapped 2 wires before a socket near the bottom of A-pillar.
What I meant is, where a bunch of wire connecting into a socket, they cut 2 wires out of that bunch and tapped the wires.

headlamp retrofit job is considered normal option as so many space to play around. tail one where got space inside especially led type

Found the issue, nothing to do with audio upgrade.
It's the brake lock. The brake lock had a socket to disable ignition if the brake lock is not unlocked.
SC disconnected the brake lock socket harness and connect the original socket to IG directly and problem solved.

On a serious note, does changing rear tail lamp (the factory one is literally broken to pieces) will void any warranty?

Depends...if Proton wants to be a b*tch, they will void all electrically related items in the car if replacement not done in SC with parts by Proton...
