Any tips to restore A/C condition?

I swear my A/C is cool enough during the 1st year.

Now into 2nd year, on a hot day I need to crank the A/C dialer at least 7 clicks and fan speed to 3.  sad.gif

If the wind blows feel weaker, just diy clean the cabin filter and blower fan, both at behind the glove box.

After done that cek a/c temp if it get restored. If not, need to top up refrigerant gas. While at it do inspection for any possible gas leaking.

I have a feeling that servicing a/c is cheaper at outside shop.

Hi Guys,

My car currently around 110k now, so far nothing big happen, previously changed fan motor only.

I'm thinking about this, our iriz is run on timing chain or timing belt?

If timing belt mean i'm going to change is soon?
*
Timing belt. Normally people change at around 100k. Never wait until it snapped, you will be in big trouble.

The fact that the service record about your brakepad replacement job in their system is non existent after been found out otherwise during periodical inspection means they will not covered it anymore.

Doesnt matter if the pad is original from PPC, the main point is "unauthorized service job".

just changed brake pads this morning, cost about rm 360, did it together with servicing, expensive, but no choice, or else mmg void warranty.

Can you guys tell what is the pros and cons of this car?

Please go do ur own research and ask more specific questions not come to this thread and just ask for such general questions.

Google is your friend. Just search for "Proton Iriz review" and theres plenty of sites talking about it. Youtube it if you want to see the car in action as people review it.

pro
the best handling car for B segment in our country with this price (same level as the famous swift but suzuki no longer sell cars in malaysia)
the best safety car for B segment in our country with this price (more sturdy than most car in malaysia, even critics still praise its more sturdier than new myvi)

con
boot space too small (smaller than axia but bigger than viva)
not fuel efficient enough (competitor already release EEV cars)

No hard feeling. Just wish to get owner's say instead of blogger or youtuber
who might make money out of it.

New one? Nope!
Part of cost cutting where Proton believes it’s useless thus removed so can add the budget into better insulation...

My car went over a rather huge cement block and part of its side (towards the rear end) skirting got chipped off as a result. I know it's not something very serious but where should I go if I want to get it replaced? Do SCs offer such services or do I have to go to private workshops? My worry with the latter is whether they can match the paint colour with the rest of the car. Thanks. Attached Image
