Might as well try maybank visa debit..

Actually what was I am trying to say was SCB got rebates for petrol & groceries spending. I have checked for MBB debit card and found no similar rebates for petrol & groceries. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah ... I agree with ya coz SCB did not mention that the rebates will only be credited back to the account on the next statement cycle. Will hold my thoughts until I see it myself next month in my statement.

BTW ... I may have miss your earlier thread ... what exactly happened to your card ?

i have no idea... had a lot of $$$ in my esavers acc... but i withdraw it and leave around a couple of hundred... before that i was in the states so my acc could have been inactive... i withdraw my $$$ by asking them to issue me a cheque btw...

1 day before i leave for sg, i tried depositing a bit of $$$, the stupid machine say sry your card have been retained, they gave me a receipt with reference no. i give them a call from their kiosk no1 pick up which i assume is because after office hours.. the next morning i headed to sg until now.. 3 weeks ago. now debit to use, have to use my states debit with no chip

it would take a long time though, a lot of frauds will happen. and they need to setup a good IT team to administer the service.

So expensive $20 fee/year is balance is under RM 1k

Note: A half yearly service fee of RM10 is levied on accounts if the minimum monthly average balance falls below RM 1,000 from 1 January to 30 June and
1 July to 31 December.
