is there a way to force astro to stream online instead of using satellite signal?

If you're using Ulti or Ultra Box, you can restore factory settings and then select "IPTV Plug & Play (self-install)".

Need some help.
I'm moving house and need to know what to do.
Currently have astro full package.
Unifi 100mbps

I am planing to downgrade astro with WiFi 30mbps.
Do I terminate and reapply or how do I downgrade and sign up for astro and WiFi together?
Will they also provide home phone?

Are you sure you want to combine them into one service provider?

Are you sure?

You sure?

Unifi's contract over ? if so, contact astro cs to subcribe bundle package with internet, they will give you reference number, then go unifi point submit number for termination, astro there will call you make appoitment for installation

Thanks for the confusion but I'm asking aren't I?
What do I do? How to downgrade?
I don't want to keep paying high fees.

Do you have a suggestion?

A proper suggestion?

Have you?

Yes contract over.
So I just have to terminate my current package. Then resubscribe to a new package with internet?
Astro is mainly for my mom. I live on mobile now and don't really need internet at home.
So something minimal to watch Netflix is all I need the internet for.

I'm someone who wants to terminate ASTRO. Outlived its usefulness and now burdening with auto-renewing expensive contract. Take it as how you want it.

If you are confused, then thank you for making you re-think. I am asking you, for you to question your self, price aside, package aside, if it is good advantage to merge 2 unrelated service providers into 1 service provider. If you think it is, then go ahead.

Maybe by having them separated but individually negotiated cost down to minimum, you have better service continuity for either OR both OR none. Maybe by merging and negotiated cost, you have better service continuity for both OR neither.

Basically the decoder is dead
They have warned me that the decoder might need to be changed when I called them
As the contract is almost over, I have decided to switch to Android Box😂

Ooh...

I suspect it's have to do with software updates...

Speculating only....

There's like some "death date" on those software updates so decoders don't last long....

That's why keep pushing to change & renew contract

I think you live in an era where Hitler still lives and is out looking for Jew blood.

I asked for suggestions and you are welcome to provide your opinion and confuse someone or give your 2 cents and help someone.

You seem to enjoy choosing the path where whatever you say only gives someone a headache they could have been withouth.
Again...
If you seem to have lived the torment of one service provider and have extensive experience in negotiating or bringing cost down to a minimum....

You could have shared....

But decided to keep that information and come over on a forum to show off your disgust at service providers and rant about something that is bothering you while confusing someone who wants to know something.

If so you have found a sweet spot in negotiating and have that superior knowledge of what combination works best, you could at least share and not gloat or give baseless facts.

Thanks but no thanks.

it's raining...
also clouds blocking the signals...

probably that the reasons....

try to reboot your box...

or wait for like 5 to 10mins then on back...

remove your simcard... maybe dirt or something stuck at the chip...

Nope. Once you terminate or transfer from Unifi to other ISP, you will lose your house phone number too.
As of now, Astro Fibre does not offer home phone service.

It doesn't work that way, kkm.
If their satellite is down, that means Astro service in entire Malaysia will be down.

You're still getting Service Currently Not Available (SCNA) error?

Nope, just no signal. The satellite test also shows momentary no signal. Already tried reconnecting the cable.
