Will Astro take back the PVR once they install the Ultra box? Can wee keep the PVR?

Hello everyone, I got a question in regards to Astro Ultra Box..but before that I must thank all especially @joshhd for detailed explanation in various topics especially the one related to Astro Ultra stuff. I learned a lot from those postings. Hats off to yall.

In regards to Astro Ultra Box, currently I am using one and split it into two TVs..one is LG 4K TV (HDCP 2.2 compliant) and LG Full HD TV in my bedroom. As for now, I am using my old HDMI switch which is not HDCP 2.2 compliant; therefore I cannot watch 4K content on my 4K tv, and resolution is set to 1080p in order to be able to watch via my bedroom's FHD tv.

I was wondering is there any HDMI splitter that is HDCP 2.2 compliant (for my 4K tv) and capable to 'downscale' to FHD on one of its output (for my FHD bedroom tv) at the same time? Or any other logical solution to get around this 'problem'? Appreciate yall input on this. Thanks in advance!

Ok fair enough.
Now Astro select their customers rather than blanket all get all the channels for free.
For those who are complaining, we Sports Pack customers pay a lot for their services.
So fair and square.
Normal customers get Movie pack where premium customer get all except PPV.

Meanwhile in Indonesia: "64.5m IDR for that? Get yourself one of these, and you could be enjoying all the PL matches. Yes, all of it. It's less than 2m IDR."



That's right, Mola TV held all the rights to air the Premier League in Indonesia now. And even WWE, too. And it doesn't cost more than 70k IDR per month.
Astro? Eh, big difference from here to there.

When you tune to CGTN (503), the message appears "Service currently not available" as if like raining outside, is it?

Try tune to these channels and see if you're able to watch the channels:
319, 320, 326, 335 and 818.

If you don't subscribe to those Chinese packages or Sports pack then try tune to CH 335.

If you still see SCNA (Service currently not available) message on those channel numbers mentioned, but still able to watch other channels as usual, that means your Astro dish or the LNB is misaligned.
Contact Astro technician to come and do dish realignment for you.

It's a busy night for Astro. All of the main Astro SuperSport channels are showing live sport event, until there's "no space left" for other main sports channel to broadcast the ATP Tennis Finals...

So it is obvious see those major sports event like football, MotoGP, rugby... are being prioritised to be broadcast on TV first, which is not surprising.

Your only option, is to watch it on Astro Go then...

Hi, anyone experienced the "back" button on the remote goes to channel 100? Used to be I could switch between any 2 channels that I'm watching by pressing the back button repeatedly, but now it switches to channel 100!

What Astro box model are you using? HD Zapper box? PVR box? Ultra Box?

Have you tried reboot your Astro box (power off electric supply, then power on again)?
If issue persists, try Restore Factory Settings.
