Astro still dare to auto cut off customer?
This all not like those customer that owning a few month of bills, this is the current bill date plus astro always bill first before customer use the service. Suppose their bill should only come out at next month to charge the service that user using on earlier month now they bill ppl before you even use the service for that month yet.

Any reason for those that have smart tv/android tv/google tv user to keep using astro?

Just use unifiTV if you are a unifi broadband customer. Best value for money. All my content needs satisfied except for Netplik (which is supposed come soon)

BeIn should buy the epl rights like elsewhere and license to those who want eg unifitv. And also on their app. Like how they do F1 is brilliant.

It depends if Bein are willing to compete with all the regional providers at once during bidding. A lot of these cable companies like Astro, Singapore's Starhub, Thailand's Truevision, etc would fight tooth and nail to keep their exclusive license because they know this is what bring subscription. Fighting one might be doable, but fighting all of them at once might not be financially sound. Due to how popular EPL is, EPL themselves are charging insane prices because they know the companies are willing to pay.

When Dunhill was sponsor, they have selected FA cup matches and delayed EPL.

You need to remember that there are places that don't really have good internet, and the only way to get HD broadcast is through antenna/satellite. for example whenever I balik kampung, Astro is the only decent way for me to watch sports, since the telco coverage barely able to provide even consistent 10Mbps (and lower when there is a LOT of people using it once during holidays), and fibre is not even offered in those remote of an area.

So Astro now is showing The Nascar Series live on Supersport 5 instead of delayed on Supersport 2. I wish they had advertised about this earlier, as I only realised it was shown live when I woke up for prayers
