Astro decided to charge me RM20 reconnection fees although I paid my last month bill on 29Jan. All this years I'm been paying my astro bill 28th to 30th every month.

Value Pack 3 (Wah Pack) would also comes with Boo (CH404), Korean Pack channels CH395-396 and Moonbug Kids (CH619). If you still need these, you can still switch to Primary Pack, and then just subscribe to additional addons on top of it, to continue watching those channels. As for contract, you can still opt for 0 month contract if you're okay with the price, compared to the total price you're paying now. Of course, you'll get even lower fees if you opt for 24 month contract, but the contract will auto renew oh.

Astro no longer allow customers to do such thing at any of their physical shops nowadays, as their physical shops is not meant for customers to carry out tasks that can negatively affect their revenue.

If your existing contract is already on 24 months, then it will auto renew for another 24 months if you don't do anything, and your monthly fee will remain the same as it is (unless if you have other kinds of special limited-time rebates, then it's different story).

Also to do that, they have to take photo from IC front and back and also subscriber photo. Something like padu registration and Identity verification so remember the person under account must go there to do that.
They take photo of the IC card (front and back)? That Astro account, is it under your name?
And what you mean by "subscriber photo"? Is it like, they use a webcam camera and take a picture of you, standing in front of the counter or something, or how?

That's bulls**t. Typical tactic by marketing people to create urgency with the goal of earning your commision and reaching their KPI. 
I'm pretty sure even those decades old Family pack (RM39.99) customers still exists today, hence what that agent told you that "Primary Pack will soon be no more" is simply fake news.

Astro no longer offers Primary Pack for new takeups (you could say it's discontinued). Astro introduced 3 new packs under the Astro One packs on Dec 2024:
- Astro One: Entertainment Pack (RM49.99)
- Astro One: Sports Pack (RM99.99)
- Astro One: Epic Pack (RM199.99)

I told him I want to maintain my current package and he say this no longer exist.  
Despite with the new Astro One packs, existing customers will continue to enjoy their existing pack as-is, unless they manually switch to the new Astro One packs in the future.
Seems to me that Astro assumes that typical customers won't go and do research on today's Astro pack offerings from time to time (which in reality, quite true), hence they can use this leverage to trick convince unknowing customers.

Now he want to give me to some package which suppose is RM79++ something and now offer me RM72++ (include tax).
The agent's goal is to upsell you. Put aside those "rebates" and whatnot, they just want your total Astro subscription to be higher than what you're paying today.
But just curious, what did the agent offer to you till it reaches "RM79++"?

In terms of what are the channels you can watch, the answer is no difference at all. Both packs is pretty much same thing.

Correct. The moment you subscribe to Astro One: Entertainment Pack, you will get a new 24 months contract.
If you're still using older Astro box models like HD or PVR Box, you'll be entitled to swap to the Ulti Box as well.
