Hi just want to check Astro recently change they payment cycle to 25days but invoice period 30days. (Example: previously payment due on 28th of every month but now payment due on 23th of every month).

Can they ask the payment earlier although invoice period is 30days.

All this while I'm be paying my Astro bill on 28th of every month but last month I paid my bill on 29th Jan.

Today when I check the latest bill .. I was charged with reconnection fees of RM20. Although I'm very sure I'm able to watch my Astro during the period of 28Jan to 31Jan.

Have anyone encounter this issue before although payment delay 1 day from invoice period.

Astro decided to charge me RM20 reconnection fees although I paid my last month bill on 29Jan. All this years I'm been paying my astro bill 28th to 30th every month.

This given me more reason to terminate Astro since I already terminate my multi room decoder last year.

If Astro is not showing F1, there will be a lot of disgruntled customers, especially when Bein is showing the commercial on Astro's Bein 1

Well better terminate astro subscription then...

They keep changing policy...

What makes you think that way?
You guys forgot that last month Astro just increased price by RM10/month or RM5/month for those who newly subscribes to Sports Pack or Premium Pack 1 respectively?
But yeah, that one is mainly because of Liga Malaysia...

Or maybe beIN increase its price if you subscribe their standalone beIN Sports Connect subscription, hence it indirectly encourages you to subscribe TV bundles from pay TV providers like Astro and Unifi TV instead.

Just download the APK for the Astro Smart TV app, and then sideload it. End of story.

After all, their Smart TV app aren't officially meant to be installed on TV boxes/sticks, even with those Google-certified and/or Widevine enabled ones.
I guess is because they don't want to "hold accountable" for app installations that aren't from LG, Samsung, Sharp, Sony Android TVs.

Invoice period is 30 days, but October last year they revised the rule to make everyone's due date to be on 25th day.

Why not use auto debit instead, where you wouldn't even experience service disconnection issue like this anymore? Either debit or credit card also can.
Anyway, if you're very unhappy with the RM20 reconnection fee, making noise to them or here wouldn't make a difference, cuz Astro's RM20 reconnection fee rule already exists for decades.

There was a post in Astro's FB where a customer asked Bein and they said for Malaysia, F1 would only be on Unifi TV but not for Astro. There is still tomorrow, but the TV guide for Astro still yet to list F1 for Bein Sports 1, and there is not even a pop up channel if it's not shown on Bein 1

So beIN channel 817-819 is fake beIN is it, and i don't see F2 matches neither

Better just unsubscribe and join other cheaper sport plan

Azzreeroo cannot afford not to have F1. So sure got. Just now use deeertii trick to nego for last minute rights maybe like how the american nego last minute rights with first week blackout. Standard tactic. How can azzzteeroo not have F1

If you guys are old enough, Astro actually did this with the Champion's League a few years back (5 or 6 years ago? I forgot). They were adamant on saying UCL was too expensive for them, but quickly signed an agreement with Bein after that

Astro is the Home of Sports, but (maybe) without F1?
Astro Sports Pack also gives you the suspense where you wouldn't know they might eventually offer F1 live matches to you or not. Indeed it is a unique selling point that Unifi TV don't have.
