Best Indian entertainment content are not from Astro la seriously, unless for those who want to watch some Malaysian Tamil shows.
Videocon d2h is still the best non-Malaysian satellite pay TV platform for Malaysian Indians.  biggrin.gif

Usually it is in instant. If you're still having trouble accessing to Astro Go, contact Astro customer service.
For On Demand content, make sure your PVR box is connected to your home Internet (Either by WiFi or LAN cable).

Zee Tamil cease transmission because of copyright material problems and not licensed with Illegal regulations by TV provider, so this rules must be cease transmission with notice by Zee TV Networks to Astro
So it seems that, Zee want Astro to cease the channel, not the other way round.

Hmm... Well...
Although this rarely happens, but almost every time when Astro ceases a channel, it is usually due to low viewership and doesn't financially benefit them.
At least, Astro gave a proper explanation behind the reason of the channel cessation.

maybe this is the reason why Zee Tamil wanted to leave astro ... so that they can pocket the money directly fr consumers:

on a different note, a new Tech channel launching on Starhub soon. Cheers.

But based on the reply by Astro, it doesn't seems like it.
It's more like, some content licensing issues rather than money issue...

Whatever it is, it's not worth subscribing that channel anyway.

The Tech Storm channel, after I Google a bit, it seems like it is a Singapore based, international channel hmm.gif
Never heard of it before, but let's see if Astro would take up that channel in near future.

After TechTV ceased, no other similar channel around ... curious to see how this Tech Storm TV turns out and where they source their programs.

Oh that's interesting...
Diversified action by Celcom & new market for Zee... They don't have much Indian base.. After this, might attract some from Indian communities...

Any folks here received call from Astro (or their contractors) to have your old byond decoder replaced?

The person who called my dad says new decoder is FOC, only need to pay RM50 for installation service....they claimed Astro is phasing out old decoders due to spare parts unavailability.

Scam?
