Got a reply from Samsung and I was asked for the screenshot of the Samsung Pay version in order to escalate the problem to a higher department.

Yes. They replied me again after I gave them the screenshot. They have escalated the problem to the respective department and I was given a reference number.

So right now, I just have to wait.

They do it for me, ask me to try again after 5 minutes.

From my experience call inform them u want to use sms tac for samsung pay. They need update your mobile no in their system the call back 5mins later will become sms tac.

did your card previously tied with MaybankPay or Netflix autodebit? I also have same problem previously. each card only have 2 tokens for electronic payments. so you need to delete one of the token for you to register for Spay. what i did is I print screen the error and email to mgcc@maybank.com.my by stating that u are unable to register Spay.
Please provide ur name, ic number, contact number, debit card last 4 digits and device you are using to register. the customer service will call and help you on this.

They just reply my tweet with this.

It has Samsung Rewards now!

When I tap on the Samsung Rewards icon, it opens my SPay app of the phone.

Wahhhhh. That's great news if the rewards points are linked between phone and gear. I can pay with my watch regularly again.

Allowing the Gear devices to capture Reward Points makes Apple Watch and Apple Pay "Game Over" here in the "New" Malaysia... LOL...

In order to receive points for Gear, Gear needs to sync to phone at the point of payment and concurrently, phone needs to be mobile data enabled?

Based on my previous experience, one of my transaction at McD didn't appear and until today it still hasn't appear.
It was nearly 1 month ago.
I seldom pay using Gear, my count of Gear hasn't reach 10 as of today.

Finally received my Gear VR.

You can pay with the watch without connecting it to the phone, but will it capture the points? Or will it be the same case where we pay with phone without wifi or data and no points awarded? I'd pair the watch with phone before making payment, just to be safe.
