For phone, points can sometime be awarded later when you turn on WiFi or data.

I think to be safe, just have the gear connected and paired to the phone. Wouldn't want the hassle and missing out on the points.

Don't forget to apply anti-blue light tempered glass / screen guard to your smartphone... Gear VR is "hazardous" to retinas...

The main reason they allow "up to" 10 "offline" transactions thru the Gear(s) is due to:-
1) Mobile network coverage is unavailable.
2) Public WiFi is unavailable.
3) Smartphone out of energy.
4) Smartphone is missing/lost.
5) The convenience for ladies if smartphone is in the luxurious Kak Rosmah's RM1 Million Birkin bag(s)...LOL...

Hope the updated SPay Gear app will better management on the up to 10 "offline" transactions

A pop up or push notification appear once the phone is connected to Internet later for the transaction(s) made without Internet. Tried many times making payment without Internet due to no active mobile data plan and still awarded with points.

I wonder why they want to ditch their own tizen. Wear os does not have too much development now. And it's battery consumption is not as good as tizen, based from my experience.
But as long as samsung pay can still be used and samsung can carry as much good features of tizen possible, it should be ok I guess. And the best part is the ability to use Google now instead of s voice or whatever it's called.

My hypothesis is that Sammy had been "check-mate" by Google Duplex feature revealed recently... their Bixby can't match / defeat Google Voice/Assistant now...



Hence, Sammy must start to think to work closely with Google eco-system especially the Google Voice/Assistant portion so that the Gear S4/S5/S6 etc. can become true companion to the owner... Bixby is loosing the credibility already... Sammy may ditch Bixby too just like what is going to happen to Tizen...

Microsoft has "Xiaoice" similar to Duplex... Amazon Alexa is well accepted in the States, while Apple Siri is sitting quietly in the corner waiting to be punished...LOL...

Yucks! That is just so uncool to impose min purchase. KV is good. More retailers and F&B supporting pay wave payment system. Penang is salah.......

Tell the merchant / cashier, they should not impose minimum purchase amount to use card payments. If they still insist, get the merchant particulars and report to BNM.
