Cool security feature by WeChat. I wonder how they know its the same person creating accounts using multiple mobile numbers.

once they marked your device id and account, changing ip doesnt work anymore

the only way is to get someone totally 'unrelated' (but could be in your wechat contacts)

1. You might be using a phone number for a WeChat account that is operating abnormally:
A phone number linked to an inactive or blocked account cannot be used for unblocking other accounts. You're recommended to use another phone number to unblock.

2. You cannot use a phone number provided by a virtual network operator:
For WeChat account security, phone numbers provided by virtual network operators such as Skype Out, Google Voice, RingCentral, and others cannot be used for unblocking WeChat accounts. It’s recommended that you use a registered phone number to unblock.
Note: The phone number currently linked to a WeChat ID is excluded to this restriction

3. The friend's WeChat account you provided may not be qualified:
Enter the phone number for other WeChat friends who meet the conditions below to unblock your account. The invited WeChat account must meet all of the conditions below:

1) If you registered your account outside of mainland China, you can ask both mainland China users and users outside of mainland China to help confirm your identity, but the conditions below should be met:
a. You can ask any WeChat users outside of mainland China (not just WeChat Contacts) to aid in unblocking your account.
b. You can also ask mainland Chinese users who must already be Contacts in your WeChat account to aid in unblocking your account.

2) If you registered your account inside mainland China, you may only request aid from other mainland Chinese users in unblocking your account, and the conditions below should be met:
a. You can ask users who isn't already contacts within your WeChat to aid in unblocking as long as users registered on WeChat from the same province with you.
b. You can ask WeChat users from any province in mainland China to aid in unblocking your account as long as they are already contacts within your WeChat.

Note: Whether a blocked account is registered inside or outside of mainland China is determined by the registered region of the account (not the region stated in the user's profile); the user assisting in unblocking your account must be a WeChat user who has registered for more than six months and is operating their account normally. Users who have registered less than six months or were blocked recently are not able to assist others in unblocking accounts.

4. Your WeChat account has been registered for 14 days or less:
It’s recommended to use the phone number currently linked with the WeChat account to unblock for which just registered within the last 14 days.
If the linked phone number is unavailable, wait until 14 days have passed since registering and use another phone number to unblock your account.

5. The phone number you are currently using to unblock your account is not the same as the phone number you used previously to successfully unblock your account:
We recommend using the same phone number which you used to successfully unblock your account last time. If the phone number is no longer available, wait at least 31 days since your last successful unblocking before attempting to use a different phone number to unblock again.

6. The phone number may have reached the maximum number of times to unblock an account:
In this case, you're recommended to waiting until next month before attempting to unblock your account.

7. The registered region of the phone number you are using to unblock your account may not match the registered region for the WeChat account:
In this case, you're recommended to use a different phone number with the same country code that match with the registered region of your WeChat account.
For example, if the country code for the phone number used to register your WeChat account is the U.S. (+1), the country code for the phone number use for unblocking should also be the U.S.

8. Other reasons:
If you are using an unofficial version WeChat or an unsanctioned plug-in, the server will not be able to accept your unblock request. Check and delete any unofficial versions of WeChat or unsanctioned plug-ins, download the latest official version of WeChat from the iOS App Store or from Google Play, and request your account unblock again.
Note: Use of unsanctioned plug-ins for WeChat is in violation of WeChat's Service Agreement and your account may be permanently blocked if you continue to use it.

White colour background, icons design is changed and has Insta story alike thingy.
I prefer this one.

If they have a black/night theme, it'll be much better.

I have the exact same problem where my account got blocked. I don't know what on earth did I do but after doing first payment on petron, then few days later its blocked. I still have roughly rm50 in my wallet and I cant even withdraw it now. I've already sent email to CS for advice but no reply yet. grrr

I can't believe I like the new UI, I didn't expect much from the mainland chinese when it comes to designing their interface...

But there's some chinese characters found even though the language is in english, kinda hurts my eyes cuz it's mixed.

Luckily my WeChat language is Chinese because I only use it to keep in touch with my colleagues and friends in China. Unless I want to share some screenshots here, then I will switch to English. They can't translate everything to English yet.

i hv 3 accounts. 1 temp banned, 1 disabled due to too long inactivity, 1 ok (prob wont get banned because its more than 5 years old with real name verification for Malaysia wallet completed)
