I'd wait for other benchmarks first instead of relying on that one.
But if that's the case, then that's really a nice performance increase.
For those on 4K displays, it seems worth it to go for it, in my case my display still 1080p laugh.gif

Still the price is way too expensive, praying AMD and Intel comes up with something good tho, if not those gpu prices will just increase further.

Donno how reliable that is, but can only hope it's true. As almost all games had almost 50% performance increase.

I just knew 2060 = 1080 benchmark.
Then all the gtx 1060 price surely drop ?
So , any release info on gtx 2060 ?

Problem is the unsure pricing on the market (not the msrp)... Whether rm1800 or rm 2400?
And it will take a whole before stocks come enough for prices to be stable, maybe earliest before Christmas?

Hi guys, im using Acer predator xb217hu 1440p monitor and i'm looking forward on GTX1070 ti (any brand) which around my budget. I only play fps game like call of duty & battlefield V. However, RTX 2060 is coming i guess..

Same as I guess , next year Feb and price is not known.
2050 would be around 1060 6gb performance.Still need to wait another 6 months sad.gif.

Saw some news not a single game using ray tracing even BF5 not enable.Even use , most low end card can't run well in performance.Maybe 720p only for 30fps.
Maybe next year 2019 only will have games with RT support.

Low end cards in the list ? ( 2060 , 2050 ,2050ti , 2030 ).Still too early i guess.

Just wait for the deals for GTX 1070 Ti (below rm1600) or GTX1080 (below rm2000), hopefully in the next 2-3 months. But don't wait too long in case no more new stock. We have a bunch of people that had been waiting since before Pascal to upgrade, due to inflated prices thanks to cryptomining with GPU.

As for ex mining cards... I would consider them worth the investment only if

A) no OC, prefer undervoltage
B) less than 2 years old, with receipt available for warranty claim
C) Priced less than half of a new card.

For the mobile parts, I don't think there will be much improvement for perf/power with 20xx for laptop too until they use 7nm.

Just the other day, Zotac 1070Ti mini was on promo for rm1699, probably to clear old stock without sst. Look out for deals la. It will come down eventually.

nvidia normally will boast about mobile GPU

this time they dont dare with RTX.. cause the power requirement...

what i can tell folks.. its really a gtx480 saga all over again.
next will be a optimized ( smaller die fab).. much cooler, higher clocked card and will be way cheaper...

NVIDIA is known to F u just as intel does.

It is back to buying midrange again when there's no competition from AMD. Nvidia will put feature in one at a time to slowly milk the enthusiast.

And when AMD have something competing in the high-end one day, Nvidia can suddenly release a product, which is already baking in their lab for a long time, and make that great leap.

Atm, unless you go for 144Hz and 1440p and above, even gtx1070 performance is overkill for standard 1080p
