Was told u cant downgrade to hotlink flex.

U can change to hotlink prepaid n use for some months, I cant recall, before u can upgrade to flex.

Or u can port out to other network n then port back to maxis hotlink flex, this is the faster approach.

Best to check with maxis.

you are rights. faster way is port to u mobile and then port back to hotlink flex.

Oh man, what a troublesome procedure they have there. Cant really see what is the point of doing that sad.gif

If thats the case, I might just port out to Celcom and stay there, easier choice for me.

It's all about the money.

My guess is, they purposely package the flex under hotlink, so that it's not too obvious to existing postpaid users that there's life beneath RM98/month 😁

At the same time, they cant ignore the price war waged by others around the 40-60 range.

Comparing Hotlink Flex Plus with Celcom XP Lite:

Hotlink gives unlimited SMS, Celcom doesn't.
Hotlink gives 10GB data, Celcom gives 12GB.
Hotlink gives free 10GB YouTube, Celcom gives 3GB video and *one hour of unlimited data per day*.
Both no carry forward.
Both unlimited calls.
Both have contract free or 24 months contract if take cheap phone.

Quite a tough choice.

Using U mobile prepaid now want to change to hotlink
1. After port in to Hotlink postpaid flex, must wait 6 months only can change to Hotlink prepaid?
2. If using postpaid, can pay bill by swiping CC in store right?
3. Hotlink Prepaid or postpaid which is more worth it?
4. What can I do with my current credit in u mobile prepaid? Around rm130+, can sell ?

3. Depends on what you want. Prepaid (social media), Postpaid (more data)
4. not sure. U have to see whether U Mobile have any feature called credit transfer. If yes, can sell.

Add on:

Hotlink unlimited calls include toll-free numbers, Celcom doesn't.
Celcom gives one time rebate of rm50 when setup autodebit, Hotlink doesn't.
Celcom Life app is buggy, Maxis app is relatively stable.
Hotlink can top up for Samsung or Iphone, Celcom can't.

How about flexibility to switch up and down the subscription plans? Is it immediate, does it last 30 full days when you switch? Do you lose your previous subscriptions data? How many times can you switch? How do they charge?

Does everyone recommend hotlink postpaid flex with unlimited social media + chat at total of RM55 per month?

I’m currently using digi 78 and contract just expired yesterday.

I wanted to know the quality on data stability and speed.

Depends on are you a frequent social media user. If yes, please go for it, value for money $$$

The quality of data stability and speed, no doubt about it and rest assured, Maxis performs very well in this area smile.gif

Hi, currently thinking of switching to Hotlink Postpaid Flex due to i wanna get a cheap plan that can use eSim

Right now using Celcom Blue RM45 / mo which give me:
1) 5GB Weekday
2) 5GB Weekend
3) 50 minutes call
4) Celcom is greedy and minimum of eSim is RM80 Gold Plan

Now looking at the RM40 Hotlink Postpaid Plan
1) 5GB all day (?)
2) 3GB YouTube
3) Unlimited call
4) eSim available

Right now my queries also include:
1) Can i pay this Postpaid plan by topping up using Prepaid code / Boost Top up?
2) Unused Data will carried forward?
