All mobile telephone service providers should be able to forward calls.  Look at the "Mobile (cell) phones" section of the wiki below to see how to do it:

Thanks. Just not sure hotlink disable this function from their end or not.

Perhaps I call hotlink to clarify.

RM30 for unlimited calls/sms and 1 gig data, good for those with low data usage!

if you got wifi all the while, u just need this,
sometimes it will be RM33-RM38,

In fact, you can contact Maxis customer service instead of Hotlink customer service to do it.

Agreed. Actually if you don't use much data, these plans are pretty awesome

As stupid as it sounds, same company but treat different products as though different planets. Maxis is the only telco which does that. I experienced that before.

If you call to 123, you must be using your Hotlnk prepaid, so that the IVR will detect as "What type of customer you are".
Otherwise you have to call 1800-820-120 if you are using another telco or from a Maxis postpaid line.

Ookyo, lagi teruk, only online can reach out their customer service. Both 123 and 1800 hotline dont know about Ookyo procedure.

I baru kena.
Tried to request port in from Hotlink Flex to Ookyo. Ookyo says "Cannot" due to different platform (from postpaid to their hybrid prepaid). Nonsense. Gave up. So probably will either stick around, or consider porting out another better telco.

Good to know...anyway, I walked in to the Maxis Center today and got it sorted out. Now moved to the latest RM40 package for 5gb data + 3gb Youtube.

Hi, im using Maxis postpaid with RM128 package and 1 share line (RM48) for my wife. May i know the difference between Maxis postpaid and Hotlink postpaid? How can I lower down my phone bill and at the same time I want the same quality Maxis is offering? Can I port to Hotlink postpaid 10gb flex plus so that my monthly commitment will be RM120 for me and my wife? Thanks

Hi I’m using the same package as above for myself and wife, and I would like to port to the hotlink postpaid flex rm40 for both lines.

I’m currently running into 18 out of 24 months contract, is there any additional charges or any advice on how to proceed?

you can't jump straight from maxis one to postpaid flex, you either port out or go hotlink prepaid first, then only can jump to postpaid flex.

Any cooling period after switching to hotlink prepaid? How long do we need to stay hotlink?

With this amendment, surely other telco also will counteroffer.

Good also, don't want too many users and create congestion. laugh.gif
