I am going to Cancel this card soon.
Their smart rebates is a joke.
I have like RM 400 for smart rebates but in the end it got burned as I cant spend the smart rebates most of the merchant in their mentioned list

Requested for SST cashbank in May and got it in June. That was for SST paid in October 2018. Not bad!

22 April-30 April transactions were too late for April cash back. It's FCFS, the pool should have finished by 10th of the month.

For May cash back, it hasn't credited yet. Latest by end of the month and will be done in batches, forummers here will let us know once it's credited.

Guys, i somehow applied for preferred platinum during a roadshow but came to know that the 10% cashback no longer there. Silly me.

And today the card arrived. Havent activate it. Planning to cancel it as the benefit isnt that interesting anymore.

Should i cancel it? Should i change card to yolo? Or to other UOB card? Not sure what to do next.

you dont need it, so cancel it. why keep it? unactivated card does not mean terminated. it's still recorded as issued/active card number that is tied to you. you dont want later get bill shock, blacklisted, marked in ccris, etc etc.

which card do YOU think suits you? you need to do some homework and readings on the card features and how it suits your spending.

to change, ask CS if they can do that.

Cancel it if you are not using the card, especially when SST is applicable to inactivated cards as well if I am not mistaken

hi guys, for Yolo, Bigpay is not eligible for CB according to first post. But it still counted as a transaction right?
Say i topup bigpay 15 times and pay 650 via Mytnb app on early of the month, i'll get full RM 50 cb right? (assuming the cb still not depleted yet)

Yes. Should work that way. But each transaction must be more that RM10. Less than RM10 is counted as 1 transaction for 1 day only for the same merchant. RM625 to be exact to get RM50cb.

Note: Multiple reload into bigpay (e.g 15 times) will get u into trouble - card got blocked.

Bigpay will block you from reload with the card due to their "security measurement" for "suspicious activities".
