Above is the response from their CSU, they r very cunning.. quietly make the changes effective 1 Jan instead of 5 Jan which is less than 21 days notice period.

22nd jan - 5 x rm1 transaction.

Still manage to get 5% for transaction from 1st to 6 jan.

interesting answer.

swipe count not necessarily must be early.

but eligible swipe amount is confirmed fcfs and cb pool finish by 22nd.

I think you're the only one getting cb for swipes before 5th biggrin.gif

with the recent reports of yolo's new cashback, now i'm joining the fun smile.gif

just did 13x JOMpay @ PIB. already got 3x trx did in early Feb, so was just betting whether can still achieve 8% cb from 16 total swipes this month biggrin.gif

noticed certain biller (merchant) impose min amount per JOMpay transaction. example:

TNB, min RM1 per transaction.
U MOBILE POSTPAID, min RM1 per transaction
SYABAS, min RM6 per transaction

payment via JOMpay @ PIB is darn easy and much faster than traditional cc payment portal. 1st time new biller will need OTP. subsequent payment is without OTP and goes thru easily in a few secs. payment reflected quite fast too (near immediate for umobile, tomorrow to verify tnb, no channel to verify syabas yet)

TNB took 3 working days to get updated bangwall.gif

So mean total of your x13 JOMpay transactions, only first transaction is need for OTP, the rest went though in few secs ??

If like this, x16 transactions is easily to be achieve in few min then  thumbsup.gif
*
only 1st transaction for each new biller will need to input OTP. set the biller as "favorite". after that, just re-initiate payment. it works like M2U's Favourite Payee setup.

QUOTE(gastacopz @ Feb 22 2018, 11:45 PM)
tnb and syabas eligible for cashback?

if yes, pretty sure gonna use this card for bill payment for these
*
there's no exclusion to jompay, and others have tried it for Jan cashback.

this mean as long as can hit 1K, will get CB RM50 right... like 5% only.. but written 10% on utility ...lol
*
same like HLB Wise lor, still shout/brag the card with highest cb of 10% and RM100 cb per month. however, you still need to spend rm2k per month. doh.gif

pref plat has cb pool, hence it's fcfs. it will never be guaranteed cb per your statement "as long as can hit 1K, will get CB RM50". perhaps higher chance if less ppl finishing the cb pool. still a gamble nonetheless.

For the revised YOLO 8% cashback, is it safe to assume that every online transaction (includes motor insurance renewal, cukai taksiran, UOBPAYONLINE, etc) entitle for cashback?
*
cukai taksiran most likely not eligible. read note (v)

also read post #15 until #70 to see the Jan cashback reports. nobody can give you a guarantee. do at your own risk until someone reported success stories biggrin.gif

Does the 16x transaction need to max 625 or not to get 8%?

Or can reaxh 16x 1st..then make sure the whole month transaction is more than 625 is ok already to get 8% cb?
*
from the Jan cb reports, both conditions seems to be mutually exclusive.

16x can be spread to whole month, but cb should be fcfs. safest is 16x max 625 as early as possible, else 625 first, then 16x later. or swipe large amount early first, then small-ish amount later.

1 user also gotten cb for transaction on 27 Jan.

I hypothesize 2 reasons:

1) cb pool not yet depleted even up until 27 Jan. likely due to new promo or less yolo users or less hitting min 8x.

2) uob didnt enforce the FCFS monthly cb pool limit laugh.gif yes, it's stated in the T&C but they can choose not to adhere to it, just yet, and monitor the situation month by month whether to limit or not.

keep monitoring the reports here lor.

QUOTE(kart @ Oct 9 2017, 07:12 AM)
There are two types of UOB Yolo Credit Card.

a) UOB Yolo Platinum Credit Card
- Offered to those with annual income of more than RM 36000.
- There is no annual fee for the first year of usage, but annual fee will be imposed for the second year of usage.

b) UOB Yolo Lite Credit Card
- Offered to those with annual income of ranging from RM 24000 to RM 36000.
- Annual fee will be imposed on the second month or third month for the first year of usage, but there is no annual fee for the second year of usage.
- 6 % cashback on online transactions and 3 % cashback on dining are same, but the maximum cashback capped per month should be lower than of UOB Yolo Credit Card (Normal).
- The information about UOB Yolo Lite Credit Card is not published on UOB Malaysia website, and is mostly known internally within UOB Malaysia Customer Service Executives and Credit Card sales team.
- The description of UOB Yolo Lite Credit Card is not shown in the credit card eStatement, and can only be known by calling UOB Customer Service.
I would suspect that you are holding a UOB Yolo Lite Credit Card, but not the normal UOB Yolo Credit Card. Is your annual income more than RM 36000? I would advise you to call UOB Customer Service, to determine whether your card is a UOB Yolo Lite Credit Card or not.
