Got RM50 cashback for Feb too! Mostly Lazada, Dining and UOB Payonline

Hi all,

I believe I've accidentally missed a payment due date last month. I had called CS but was told that I had actually made a payment (actually this was my credit balance from the previous month but treated as a "payment") and hence there was no late payment, but there is finance charge though.

Can I confirm that for late payments, I should see a "Late Payment Charge" in my account? If there is no such line, then it's confirmed that I didn't incur late payment?

Currently I only see "Finance Charge" in my account, which I have requested for waiver.

I began my Feb statement cycle with a credit balance of RM99, then end it with an outstanding balance, but did not make any payment until past due date. Somehow my excess payment at the beginning was treated as a "payment" and hence fulfilled the "min payment of RM50", but incurred finance charges on the outstanding balance that was past due date.

When I was making payment through UOB Payonline, i saw the URL changed to a .au address when routing through the payment gateway. Since Australia's time is ahead of Malaysia, should be safe then.

Lazada wallet top up appeared as "Lazada Topup KUALA LUMPUR MY" in unbilled statement, whereas regular purchase shows "Lazada KUALA LUMPUR MY". Haven't checked with CS what's the MCC for Laz wallet top up though.

If you swiped in July, you should be checking for the rebate to be credited in August instead.

Yea, my last eligible transaction for the Aug cycle was also within 10-13 Aug.

Yea, it's entitled and i've done so and gotten cashback.

Just called to request for a "waiver/offset/rebate" for the Service Tax charged to my YOLO but was declined quite strictly. CS said it can only be offset with 10,000 Uniringgit points which I don't have. I don't wish to do the cancel-then-retain route, so I think I'm paying to continue using the card.

From the looks of it, i don't think this card is worth keeping anymore after new TnC is effective.

Just realised that i shared the wrong TnC link Sorry for the confusion!

I realised the following in my Nov spending and cashback received:

1. Lazada Topup KUALA LUMPUR MY - eligible for cashback
2. LAZADA-TOPUP-EC KUALA LUMPUR MY - NOT eligible for cashback

I can't remember if no. 2 was done through Lazada mobile app or not...but i'm quite sure no. 1 was through Lazada website
