i think of total income,
let say you earning 5k, aim for 6k increment at least.

but if your level is management, i think less abit. but still depends on field.

Whats the average of salary increment after you jump ship?
*
Non-managerial role typically gets 20-25% base salary jump. But if your destination company has less bonus/allowance/benefit, you can provide proof and negotiate for higher basic to compensate.

Managerial role typically gets 15-20%.

No idea on C-Suite.

What's the definition of your 'gross salary'?

Gross salary usually means your salary before EPF, PCB, SOCSO & EIS deduction.

Yes 20-25% from your base salary aka gross salary should be expected.

Should look at total comp aka base salary plus bonus. No use jumping around and get that 30% increase in base salary but bonus outlook is substantially lower from double digits to low single digit

Your salary is normal for your age. I should say you are doing pretty well.

hi there shifus

I want to ask about IT career since want to work at Singapore

is it easier to get a job and visa as:

1. mobile developer - android
2. Back end engineer - java
3. java engineer - server side
4. front end engineer
5. SAP related work

Which one is easier? or you have any other suggestions?
Should I get job experience first in KL?
I would like to know the challenges we encounter as well as the salary growth

If you can get a job as a fresh graduate there, it will be good.

Typically IT jobs are very much sought after in Singapore, I believe you can give it a go.
