Wow very good pay for your age. Is it because you have a Master's degree?
*
I doubt it's because of my masters... I think the opportunity just comes at the right time? And networking really helps me to identify really good opportunities (networking okay, bukan cable. lol)

Impressed with the working hours...work life balance and with good salary

I forgot to mention that it is a remote job as well... which means I won't have a physical office and will be working from home most of the time + perhaps a bit of traveling to meet clients. Sounds nice on paper, but I'm sure it will get boring after a while haha

1 year full-time experience. I have 3 years of research, fellowship programme and consultancy prior, but I did not count it towards "employment experience". However the organization I applied for took that into account so that's a plus for me. Right opportunity comes at the right time I guess.

Also managerial level at non-profit organizations can be different from that in other sectors. I somehow managed to leverage that opportunity and jump elsewhere

this is very well done. just numbers alone, 6  to 11 deserves a round of applause  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif

I must say that luck plays a huge part too! I kinda pushed the upper range to the max, and wanted to negotiate from there, but they accepted it without asking many questions lol

It’s not a local startup. It is one based in the US. They have been around since 2014 and their product is very niche

if 2014 shud not be consider a start-up anymore I believe....
*
Well even big companies like Grab still calls themselves start-up so... it's just that they earned their unicorn, decacorn, whatevercorn status along the way. Based on what I was told the term startup describes how the company comes together and how they got their funding, regardless their size but I could be wrong.

Recently get an offer software engineer position backend role 4.3k and my current salary 3.5k with 3 years exp. Should i accept the offer?
*
That’s 23% increment, which is within the low end of the average increment range for your salary... it is probably just enough to jump ship but you also need to compare the non-monetary benefits e.g. fixed and varied allowance, medical insurance, reimbursement, and also other factors such as growth potential, geographic location, travel, working hours as well as training and development opportunities.
