You don't want a heavy burden for your parents? In that case just take whatever course a local public u is willing to offer you. I think you're a great person for wanting to put your parents first, and i'm sure after you graduate from a local public u and start working, you can earn enough money to not only take care of yourself, siblings, and parents, but also pursue your interests in your life.

You seriously want to study there? Did you not read the other person's post about how packed the photocopy shop always is? i had a friend who came back from the imu open day saying that the lecturer "can't even speak english!". Yeah, ask imu students about Prof Kyan Aung. There must be a university that you can get into in Australia -- there are so many to choose from! Trust me, direct entry is worth it.

He speaks proper english, just with added slangs and monotonous. But his lecture is well structured and up to date. If you're able to survive the 1 hour without sleeping, its very good. He writes better then say.

I even checked the caches for this, so please shut up if you don't know.

Reply is kindly appreciated . Rather than taking foundation in some colleges, it is a better idea to just go for Cambridge A-Levels,Australian year 12 programs,International Baccalaureate Diploma and the like.A much more globally accepted qualification like that would serve as a better passport to tertiary education than Foundation programs.

Ok I know i'll come under heavy fire for asking this, but does anyone know if pms students get discounts on their pms fees? The fees stated in the pms tuition fees list (on idrive) seem to be cheaper than those stated on the uni websites. Eg adelaide, keele, leeds... Just wondering if anyone knows the reason behind the disparity

i think the pms list fees are indicative.......some are obviously the same over several years, suggesting they have not been updated.........the fees on the respective uni's websites should be the correct ones........

How can there be discount on your fees? even if it's 1% they might be losing a few hundred pounds or dollars... Some of the fees are really outdated. I remember some SRC's people came and ask my batch who wants the matching handbook for m108 and claimed that the fees are the newly updated ones, but.... looks like it's not.
