If you should know, USD to MYR is 3.9 only. USD999 x 3.9 is how much? Apple Malaysia price should be adjusted. Over inflated. Malaysia was once the cheapest place to buy Apple product vs USD. I still remmeber my iPhone 6 only cost RM2.7k for 64gb when launched (when USD was x3.1)

As for me, i'm prefer to get MY set bcos of resale value... i have experienced selling import set. Its really hard to sell bcos people only want MY set...

Now I think a lot of peeps prefer other than MY set as they afraid it will be a telco set that can be locked after few months of use. Last time yes, peeps prefer MY set as easy to claim for warranty and confirm original.

Buyer will need for Machines/Switch receipt to clarify it's not a telco set. Most of the time I found peeps selling without a receipt, so it's really hard to sell.
There are a lot of news regarding this issue. There is no point MY set is better now as other set also claimable here. Only some different chipset, can't toggle off shutter sound and different plug. That's it.

You are absolutely right. I keep telling people that it's more worth it to go SG and buy an iPhone than to buy in Malaysia. What's more, this is really bad business for malaysian sellers as they are losing business to SG sellers, who are taking advantage of Malaysia's high retail price when malaysians flock to SG to buy their iPhones (or even buy the SG set online).

Just got my 64GB Space Grey. Face ID for me so much convenient compare to my iPhone 7 Touch ID. I love the phone size with the screen size offered. Not much different in term of speed for daily usage like loading apps etc.
