Statement balance is the amount u need to pay at the time the statement is generated. Over the 20 days interest-free period, there might be cashback, transaction refund, etc credited to your account. And u will see payment due (amount to pay before due date) = statement balance minus those credited amount.

Means pbb doesnt follow their own rules which in black n white. Is that a violation because public interest is affected...

they just announce publicly total allocation for July-December as long as it doesn't exceed the limit.

Of course we dont know but a financial institution as big like that dont have own set of ethic to follow or subject to audit on their practises.

I guess PBB is too nice that people are questioning all the petty details.

“Late” promo cashback payment but actually PBB is one of the fastest ones to give out.

PBB CS entertains missing cashback but people are questioning if they follow their own T&C.

cannot agree more. tbh i'm pretty impressed with pb cards department, be it card benefits, ad-hoc campaigns or cs efficiency. even their e-statements are faster than others.

on your statement date for both questions. Contact cs to ask when is your statement date if you are not sure. And ask them about the 12.85 while you are at it

true, with the large volume of transaction. customer is not expected to monitor and count the rebate entitlement manually.

I often read the term n condition of those contest. Normally it got a term that the final result will be final n bank wont entertain any protest or complains. I am a person who will follow rules strictly and play within the rules to make sure i can get what i want which are within my controls. I'm one of those who got full cash back from hong leong 30% a couple of years ago. Unless those contest winner which are randomly selected by the bank which is out of my control except swipe as much as i can to send in more entries.
