Why dump MBB CC?

Are you a MBB (Maybank, conventional) cardholder or Maybank Islamic (Ikhwan cards) cardholder?
MBB and Maybank Islamic are regulated by BAFIA 1989 and Islamic Financial Services Act 2013 respectively.

If you are using Ikhwan cards, I think you can do balance transfer to another islamic bank only.

Eg you can transfer your credit limit from Maybank (conventional) to Maybank Islamic (Ikhwan cards) (the conversion form is available), but you cannot convert from Maybank Islamic to Maybank (Conventional), so you need to re-apply at Maybank (Conventional). Similar thing at FD-CASA, Standing instructions to Islamic loan, if I am not wrong.

Hmm.. is your available credit limit enough to split, considering you are also doing BT at the same time.

Fund into Islamic account is not questioned.
Fund from Islamic to conventional (may involve something haram) is questionable.

If your application for PBB CC is rejected, spend RM26.50 to get the CTOS+CCRIS report and know your CTOS score.

1. I registered through ringgit plus for the quantum card. May I know I need to spend RM250 in both card or single card to entitle for the gift?
2. Can i register for other promotion such as cashback4u? Or I only can have 1 promotion at a time (such as ringgitplus promo)

I got 2 cards from PB even I applied only one. I got both VS and master world card. The best is both cards not sharing the limit and has a standalone limit, Thus, I got more credit line to do a 0% BT.

I doubt they come in pair by default, the bank's just pushing world mastercard to certain VS applicants. I only applied for VS and got only VS recently.

Hi sifus anybody has experience in paying PBB cc bill via maybank2u GIRO ?

I have PBB visa sig and PBB quantum master both in 1 statement. I made payment via m2u GIRO to each cc separately. Unfortunately only one payment is successful , the other deemed failure. Anybody knows what's the reason ?

I think I hv figured it out, maybank2u giro via apps max limit 1000 per day. I try using pc browser to do the giro and it's ok. Strange

Are your on time and late payment of ptptn listed in ctos? If yes, why are they still request your online ptptn statement? Just for my curiosity...
