For astro on go, I use Njol now since it got more chinese free program. Yes need to use with screen rotation app and disable Leanback keyboard with use LeanKey keyboard.

I still use Minix NEO A2 Lite but the back function not really proper work & hard to use mouse to doing speed pages down to bottom. Think it is due to nature of the android tv I believe. THerefore for playtv@unifi, have to scroll down using button one by one. Lol.....

Also playtv@unifi (or most Gameloft games), it is connected thru LAN which Minix unable to perform. Just need to enable something like "weak wifi" (can't remember the exact) feature in app setting.

No issue of what first? U will need to pay SST to custom n apply sirim Sticker if you unlucky get selected.

Anyone has problem with Netflix app? I can go into the app and choose a show to watch but as soon as it loads, it says that this show is not available now error.
Tried restarting app, restart the shield, uninstall updates, re-login, force close and reload but nothing works. Keep having the same problem.
Anyone else experience this?

So far no issue. What about your network connection? Better use Ethernet.

No problem with network connection and I am using wired. In the network test within the app it passes all the network related tests with all 4 servers and the speed is 50mbps but still having the problem for all shows.
I am able to use the Netflix app on my Sony tv and everything works fine but on the Shield it is not working.
Seems to be a common problem but most people are able to fix it with a restart or re-login. I don't want to do a factory reset unless I really have to.

Any external hard disk attached? If u used external as internal, you may try to move the app to in and out with diff drive to test. Also enable some sort of "weak connection" app function under Ethernet settings to test out.

You mean the sirim sticker requirement is based randomly?

Sometime custom may overlook only. Most by luck. Anyway higher changes to get charge. Lol

Just bought a Shield today and waiting for delivery, is there any to-do list before I get it started? Tried checking on Reddit and saw general stuff like installing Kodi, File Explorer, and emus, not sure if there's anything else?

The local SG seller have 7 days direct exchange while Amazon requires shipping back to them in case of DOA, decided to skip the risk since the pricing is not too far off (after minus delivery). Would have gotten it if Amazon Prime SG carries it but must go through Amazon US.

That aside, any recommendation on what to do/get after getting my Shield? Mainly planning to use this for game streaming and movies (Plex/Kodi).
