Im curious whats the difference between the 2018 ver and 2017?

I read the specs no different, was just about to hit the pay button on Lazada and then saw a 2018 version

The Shield is $140 on Amazon now btw. +30 bucks import and shipping fees, so $170 = ~RM730 (SIRIM excluded). Unless I'm wrong, aren't most grey importers still selling it for RM1.2k+ and above?

Normally how long does it take for the 3rd email to arrive do you know?
Because from the 2 emails that I got, it sounded like I need to do something in order for them to proceed.
