using ZMI MF885 for unifi mobile.

But weirdly the antenna is not as strong as my iPhone where it can fetch LTE easily.

(My Samsung Galaxy S8 also faces same issue, weak signal)

unlike iphone, i don't think zmi mf885 supports lte band 5 850mhz. so it is probably connected to one of the tdd-lte bands which are used by webe.

Just want to ask why speedtest 4g only yield a result of below 0.5mxbps for upload and download? 3g also same.. unifi mobile is that slow?

The 4G coverage is not as widespread as most of the telco in Malaysia. You can make a check on its website.

i can choose 4g and 3g depending on the phone setting, so i guess coverage is not an issue in my place. my concern is unifi mobile speed is just 0.5mbps upload and download? or is there any setting that can boost up the connection to 10-20mbps?

That means Unifi mobile tower is congested is that particular area. You can only hope that they somehow increasing the network capacity (provided if they could) or stuck with that shitty connection quality for extended period.

I thought 3g is borrowed from celcom? That should be very fast 3g but still same speed? I am afraid it is capped. I am using the pekjasa btw.

Yes, i can confirm this, 3G speed tops at around 2Mbps

nope. see my speedtest, my home lte4g got 9mbs and test 3g speed outside 4g speed is 5mbs

and lte 0.5mbs is tested inside mall

been 2 weeks using unifi mobile. put in redmi note 4. so far all the place i went to be it at home or office have good signal on 4g.

now in process apply 2nd sim. miss the boat, 2nd sim gv me 10gb lte only.

plaza alam sentral, indoor, 3g full bar but cannot get any data. going outdoor full bar LTE with around 30mbps download.

Yes RN4 seems to work well with unifimobile
