QUOTE(coolguy_0925 @ Jan 26 2018, 09:08 PM) thanks! those heading there should take note.wonder what's the queue like in kl. thinking of collecting my cards later when fever cools down. QUOTE(tympg @ Jan 26 2018, 07:23 PM) My initial perception is that being on Band 5 eats my phone battery faster than being on Bands 7/3/8. No Band 38/40 in my area. weak signal drains battery because your phone has to use more power to communicate with the tower. the phone also generates more radiation which may be bad to health.Maybe Unifi signal being quite weak (1-2 bars on lower floor) in my home area is a factor. |

QUOTE(veron4best @ Mar 18 2018, 01:44 AM) using ZMI MF885 for unifi mobile. unlike iphone, i don't think zmi mf885 supports lte band 5 850mhz. so it is probably connected to one of the tdd-lte bands which are used by webe. But weirdly the antenna is not as strong as my iPhone where it can fetch LTE easily. (My Samsung Galaxy S8 also faces same issue, weak signal) [attachmentid=9667918] |
