wanna ask for my friend, she is china' chinese and her malaysian family will be taking international flight (includes transit PEN-KUL-Shanghai), total 9 hours transit awaiting time at KLIA2,
let's say , they all got visa, can they leave the airport for the tune hotel (they travel along with small kids, that's why) and go back to airport 2 hours before the flight to shanghai?

Penang to KUL is domestic flight , no immigration check .

hi,
anyone know if airasia still have their direct flight from PENANG to KUCHING ?
Earlier they said the route is suspended but i checked their website still have the flight

AFAIK still available, but given their reputation of frequent cancellation/rescheduling, I've switched to Firefly, which often times is cheaper than flying AA.

It seems AirAsia still having the PEN-KCH route.
I had family emergency and had to fly in.
Tried to buy from AA but fail to proceed even though listed 4 seats left.

Ended up bought MAS RM350 for one way. AA fare is RM250 for one way, and flying on time yesterday at 7am, and seems to be full flight.
And ridiculous part is that FIREFLY listed sold out, but the plane is just carrying 40+ passengers.

they did, ard rescheduled it. Now i hope the either flight wont need to rescheduled again, because it will totally mess up my hotel booking.

Yes, I realized that too, I guess they make it that way to earn more from unsuspecting travelers.

Even Agoda also, if u book several hotel together, the price is slightly higher than booking individual hotel separately
