hey guys, do you guys realise buying few tickets at once actually result higher price per pax?

for example,
i want to buy 4 tickets.
If I buy one by one , ticket per pax is RM100
if I buy 4 tickets at once, ticket per pax is RM120.

Baggage is also more expensive per pax.
RM73/pax if buy one by one.
RM80/pax if buy 4 at once.

is this intentional ? just curious lol

Yes, I realized that too, I guess they make it that way to earn more from unsuspecting travelers.

Even Agoda also, if u book several hotel together, the price is slightly higher than booking individual hotel separately

because ticket price are not the same
every flight has a certain number of cheaper flight
once finish sold thn it will move to the next price bracket

so when u buy RM73 ticket is left 1 or 2 or 3(u can try 1 by 1 actually), if u select 4, it will automatically become RM80 for all 4
u have to find out how many more RM73 ticket by slowly decrease the number of pax

No it is not... clear cache or use different isp and buy , u get the same cheap price.

It is the algorithm, knowing u r not goign to leave family member behind

u can try
this is what i experience when buying cheap tix for the past 10 years
it's not RM73 for the whole flight
there is a certain quantity for it
and i'm not going to leave anybody behind, just a different price bracket only

say if RM73 is left 2 tix and i have to have 4 tix
thn 2 RM73 tix and 2 RM80 tix...that's how i maximize my budget

i tried using VPN to search the same thing...same result at the end
u only see minor price fluctuations due to currency rate difference only

Any1 ever experience fare drop significantly the next day after you purchased?lol
Are we allowed to claim the fare difference? maybe credit into our account instead of refund cash.
I bought BKK ticket yesterday, then today suddenly drop about rm100+ sad.gif

Hi all

I have unused Airasia credit leftover and willing to offer to buy tickets for you from airasia.com with a 5% discount. Other flights like Scoot can be bought too. Please PM if keen.

Hi sifus, I booked my AirAsia flight ticket KUL-KIX in November and it is stated that "Flight is subject to obtaining government approval". Did some reading and some other places said it usually turns out to be fine. Just some paperwork to be done. Has anyone here saw this before too? Thanks

Yes, usually should be fine and have nothing to worry about unless airasia email u otherwise. I bought in advanced last year to haneda also show this. I think most airlines if you buy in advanced also got this kind of warning because again it has to depend on their government approval.

According to someone on reddit:
Generally it means they intend to begin service and far enough along in the process that they’re confident they’ll get approval to fly so they begin selling tickets. But they can’t legally fly until both countries governments’ sign off. In the event they don’t get approval in time for the flight and it gets canceled, surely American will most likely refund your fare without question. The only hiccup you’ll have is if you’ve booked non-refundable lodging or incurred any other travel expenses.

Have anyone tried the Fast Pass that you can carry up to 14kg of luggage on board? Such a bummer that I don't see 15 kg checked in luggage now.
