i confused why she will ask 3% n 9 % qusetion ???zzz ist any game use 3% n 9 %???tis 2 question make me stuck in calculate....dont knw cant get tis job or not??she told me to wait for call,AIYA~

depend wat ur position....
if u r executive definitely the hostel is better
bt if u r the staff the hostel quite bad...
all form of entertainment available at ther so dun think it is boring

Usually how long is the contract??

Hello, may I know how many room in quarters and how many person per room?

How about our uniform or clothing cleaning? Own cleaning or got staff laundry?

How the shift plan and offday?

Two pairs of uniform per person.
Room is varies.
Some get 2 person per room...
Maximum is 4 person per room...
They have self service laundry, staff laundry and dobby..usually we use self service laundry...

Monday to Thursday is 8 hours working time...
Friday to Sunday is 9 hours...
Off days is 5 days per month...

This all is for casino la..

Shift rotation is by group..

I have personally BAN genting group from my job application since last year.
They often misleading employee with ''fake'' offer, especially on the higher rank position and position with better pay.

The first time I interview with them, I apply for position A, they offer me position B. And at the time I was still new to the company so I just accept it, and I realized lots of other staff in genting went thru the same situation.

The second time, after I resign. I apply for a job in genting group again but under different company. And as usual, I apply for position A, they offer me position B. This time I direct reject them. When I ask why, they just say not enough requirement..

Such unprofessional company, they are using this tactic to trap those fresh graduate and those desperate for job.

The roommate will be same group or stranger?

If I work as casino war table and next time will be change to other games table? Or all the casino staff expert on all various table games?

And we can choose for nickname on ID tag? Or must be follow the IC name? I heard my friend say Genting will be send the survey form to customer ask about the feedback and also staff comment. So customer will be write down the name follow by our ID tag if we do something wrong? Do u knew about this or receive any comment from customer before?

Last few day I visit casino and notice there got other country staff. Not only Malaysian able to apply for casino position?

Have you assess the people who were victim of such "plot". Do you think the qualify for the higher post they apply for?

its now the sixth day they told me to wait their call...i think no hope edi la....zzzzz

some of them have better qualification and experience than what actually ''require'' but still they been offer different position. Same goes to me, our experience and qualification are better than what they posted in the job advertisement. And for the salary issue, they are the one that offer us, we never ask for ''sky high'' salary.

The last time when I ask the interviewer, its seem like he can't even answer my question of what the minimum requirement and why he reject me from my actual offer.

yup it expensive a little bit than those have in KL

roomate will be stranger that is working under genting..they might be croupier, guard, waitress.. etc etc

U will be trained in one game and fun game first...then after u working for about 1 year like that then u might go for cross train for other games...

ID tag u can put nickname..no problem...

Survey is done everyday..
if they wanna complain u they see ur ID or straight complain to your supervisor la..
so far I didn't get complain before, just compliments XD
But kena scold by those hot tempered customers a lot

We have China and Philippine croupier too but they are on contract la...

I went interview for admin position based at Genting Highland yesterday and the interviewer asked me to wait for 2 weeks for them to call me back as she has to submit...bla bla bla to agency at Genting. Is it considered as fail or what?

no la...they are finding for the best candidate ma..u wait lor...if no call means no lor

I have a friend’s sister used to work at GH Casino marketing as Assistant manager. She start out at GSA also then 3 years later promote. Anyone know how much pay increase will there be after promotion to assistant manager? I hope to join GH after i graduate with a degree in marketing.

But i am worried also coz people say relationship dont last in GH. People always cheat on each other, is this true? My bf is thinking of joining also but i worried coz the girls in genting all pretty wor..

Your friend been promoted in just 3years.. Thats consider very fast in Genting standard.
Depends on how you adapt to the life in genting, lots of people went there will end up homesick. And most of the staff in genting won't be working there for long term, people tend to come and leave very fast, its part of Genting culture. One thing on working in Genting is that, you must know how to play politics well and PR skill is very important. Without this two skills, you won't be able to last long or you will forever stuck in the same position.

Thanks for the advice! I am prepared to work hard for sure. My aim is to earn as much money as I can in future coz i am fron single-parent family. Seems that GH's pay pretty good. That's why I want to go for it.

Of coz i know it wont be easy.. that's why I hope to find out as much and get prepared! So in future if i climb to AM will I get about RM4000 or so? GSA for degree holder it about RM 2K i heard...

basic for junior gsa is 1800 but i can say that gsa is the highest pay among all lor..plus the promotion is very fast too...
