Thanks for the info eLL_lAzyPiG,
Another question concerning procedure when handling money. After dealers handle money they always show an empty hand. What time frame is given to them to show empty hand after touching money? If they fail this procedure what kind of discipline measure is taken. Your RC6 sounds like a solidarity confinement cell |

QUOTE(eLL_lAzyPiG @ Feb 26 2011, 03:22 AM) faceless Thanks again eLL_lAzyPiG.show clear hand is what you mean? as long as your superior and the CCTV can see that your hand is empty then it's enough. if u fail to do so, you will get some warning letter called CMDS. Not good for your record. That is exactly what I mean. This (CMDS) is scary. How much training will you get before you get to serve in the casino? It is not an easy habit to cultivate. When ever you touch money or chip and move them you have to do it (show empty hand). It seem like an easy stuff to look at dealers do it. I am sure there is a lot of training given to reinforce this procedure into memory so that it becomes an almost automatic habit. This post has been edited by faceless: Mar 11 2011, 09:36 AM |

QUOTE(eLL_lAzyPiG @ Mar 22 2011, 02:44 AM) the main game i'm in is roulette... Since the payout is most complicate only those very good in math will be assign to it right? So, is the roulette dealers are consider the "first class" type of dealers among you fellow dealers? How come the dont assign you to card games? Is there a basis for this?and i have other 3 fun game too.. (mini dice, tai sai & french boule) payout for roulette is the most complicated one... lol |

QUOTE(eLL_lAzyPiG @ Mar 22 2011, 12:11 PM) roulette is fun though... Fun only when you are good in math. 17 times tables is not something most people are familiar with. By the way is it easy to spin the ball?the calculation is easy when you're used to it... there's no first class dealer or some sort just because you are in different games... only the position differentiate us.. high level of dealer are usually the maxim/vip dealer... they look cool in their uniform. How did dealers get promoted to be a maxim/vip dealer? How many years of experience usually? |

I always think of the vip dealers as those with a "bitter gourd" face. It is just this perception of elite that makes a person snobbish.

QUOTE(skon9 @ Mar 28 2011, 06:16 PM) I have personally BAN genting group from my job application since last year. Have you assess the people who were victim of such "plot". Do you think the qualify for the higher post they apply for? They often misleading employee with ''fake'' offer, especially on the higher rank position and position with better pay. The first time I interview with them, I apply for position A, they offer me position B. And at the time I was still new to the company so I just accept it, and I realized lots of other staff in genting went thru the same situation. The second time, after I resign. I apply for a job in genting group again but under different company. And as usual, I apply for position A, they offer me position B. This time I direct reject them. When I ask why, they just say not enough requirement.. Such unprofessional company, they are using this tactic to trap those fresh graduate and those desperate for job. |

QUOTE(skon9 @ Mar 29 2011, 11:52 AM) some of them have better qualification and experience than what actually ''require'' but still they been offer different position. Same goes to me, our experience and qualification are better than what they posted in the job advertisement. And for the salary issue, they are the one that offer us, we never ask for ''sky high'' salary. Maybe many things had change by now.The last time when I ask the interviewer, its seem like he can't even answer my question of what the minimum requirement and why he reject me from my actual offer. |

QUOTE(timetravelller @ Apr 12 2011, 10:10 AM) is there any lubang to apply the job as croupier at genting? i'm actually asking for 1 of my cousin. his spm result wasn't that good and was rejected by tar college for certificate/diploma course. so i was suggesting that he work at genting casino. is there anyway to get that job? well at least an interview will do. I am no expert on this. Go to http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/449933/+400 Read post 416 by eLL_lAzyPiG (few pages back). You can follow my conversation with him/her then ask whatever you have in mind. I suggest you make him do his 17 times table (some roulette pay out odds, I guess). This post has been edited by faceless: Apr 12 2011, 10:21 AM |

QUOTE(timetravelller @ Apr 12 2011, 01:11 PM) It is not easy to determine if a person had 'good customer service' at the interview. That quality can only be accessed when they are on the job. In the interview, the interviewer look a candidate with a jovial character who is confident but polite. Perhaps the interviewers at Genting dont know how to look for the right candidate that is why the dealers are mostly "black-faced-goddess". |

I dont think the customers are rude. They may be rowdy. Intense environment is not the excuse for showing black face. Good customer service can be pleasant at all times.
