If you subscribed in between 100Mbps - 500Mbps of fibre packages, try Archer A7. It is similar with Archer C7 but comes with Alexa in trade with 1 of its 2.0 USB port likewise 2 USB 2.0 ports that can be found in Archer C7. Hardware-wise, it is similar with Archer C7. |

The differences in between TIME firmware and EU firmware is, the bugs present were fixed for V1 while for the EU version was left, just like that and they focused on releasing new hardware revision instead. Hardware Version Archer Ac 1200 v1.0 Which firmware should I upgrade to? (Time Fiber) Do note that, by upgrading to the TIME firmware will cause your firmware upgrade page to be inaccessible (hidden) from the web UI panel. |

It is based on the availability of the wireless router they have in hand currently - particularly depends more on the technician itself. It is safe to assume that, do fork out some cash to buy a better, reliable wireless router instead. |

QUOTE(JohnLai @ Jul 29 2019, 07:47 PM) ? You are right there. However, by looking at the recent release of patch, although the fixes aren't big as the EU firmware, each firmware gives/offers something to the end user, you gain something by loosing something. I stopped using the model long time ago, so couldn't highlight much issues about it anymore apart from long boot up time and high cpu usage at abnormal rate. Haha. Wasn't it supposed to be the other way around? EU firmware has more bugs fixed and features while TIME/MY/TM firmware is mostly left alone with minimal fix. |

I have not tried flashing back to EU firmware. And i don't need to as i prefer to have stronger 5GHz wifi signal. If you look at page 1, maybe you can try flashing back to the firmware in edit 7. Try hard reset the router first before flashing Btw, my router with US firmware also has 2 of the lan led lights always on even tho there is no cable connected to lan. But the wifi for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz is working fine |

Stupid the TPlink, suddenly auto reboot several times after few minutes.
And the Time setting (at admin router setting) it can't auto obtain, it's caused the date and time all lari.. Any idea how to replace the new router? There is a logo of TM there. Can I direct ask TPlink to do replacement? Thanks a lot. |
