Hi bro.. Thanks for the screenshot, I think I misunderstood with the statement in the 1st post stating that EU version is only 5Ghz (I assume no 2.4Ghz)
What TS meant was the 5Ghz for EU version is not as complete as MY version
*
The latest beta EU version actually removed 2.4ghz channel 12 and 13.
Official EU and Malaysia version still contain 2.4ghz channel 1 to 13.

So what are my chances of getting bricked while upgrading my router firmware and all a sudden Najib magic power comes out. BLACKOUT.

Was at 16% and currently experiencing darkness infront the router lol

I pressed the factory reset button, then set a static ip on my desktop and could access a simple recovery page which allows you to flash back again.

Saw a site saying so, can't find the site link anymore as I was browsing using my phone just now lol

New Firmware spotted, but it is written as it is for TIME Router, hmm...
QUOTE
Archer C1200(EU) V1 TM Unifi Wireless Router (Latest 16-5-2018)

Modifications :

1. Support DualLan

2. Support Tr069

Notes :

1. For Archer C1200(EU) - TIME Wireless Router
2. It is NOT suggested to upgrade firmware which is not for your region. If this site is not for your region, please click here to choose your own region and download the most suitable firmware version.

https://www.tp-link.com/my/download/Archer-...1.html#Firmware

The file is C1200v1_eu_tm-up-1.0.0 Build 20180403 rel.22124_2018-04-03_14.13.08.bin, missing a "boot" compare with previous version, and reduced file size.

As it said support Tr069, but it is there for the previous firmware, just disable as default configuration.
So I guess it means enable by default? hmm.gif

Anyways, it will be helpful if someone compare and find out the different, as the router is shared with other people, no more flashing without thinking.
FYI, so far the previous version is stable, but weak on multiple download(1 p2p download is ok) and reboot itself per 2 weeks. notworthy.gif

Tr069 is somewhat dubious, as TIME or TM can now login to your router remotely, and without knowing your router password. It gives them free unrestricted access to your router and change its settings however they want to. Anyway, they can also use it to configure your BTU remotely if they are any problems, so it can work both ways. If I were you, I would just get another router, my own third party router, rather than relying on this damn C1200. GST is being zero-rated so prices for new router might go down.

I have tplink c1200 V2 with latest firmware. Im having very low 2.4ghz router connected speed (~1mb) and internet is also very slow.
I tried disable wmm and qos but it is still the same problem.
i have no problem with 5ghz.
I try different channel and bandwidth but it is remain the same.

Nothing to do with the router in this instance. Your 2.4 GHz frequency is too damn congested or full of interference. Use a WiFi analyzer on your Android or PC to check and read here: https://www.lifewire.com/is-5-ghz-wifi-bett...-2-4-ghz-818293

I do check with wifi analyzer and select the less congested channel. the 2.4ghz is very slow. i trial the same channel and bandwidth with my old dlink router, it has no problem. I trial my friend tenda router also no problem. this is why i think it is tplink problem. this is happening with my phone and laptop. Do you have any other opinion or suggestion?

Post a screenshot of your wifi analyzer result. I am quite skeptical.
