New Firmware spotted, but it is written as it is for TIME Router, hmm...

Archer C1200(EU) V1 TM Unifi Wireless Router (Latest 16-5-2018)

Modifications :

1. Support DualLan

2. Support Tr069

Notes :

1. For Archer C1200(EU) - TIME Wireless Router
2. It is NOT suggested to upgrade firmware which is not for your region. If this site is not for your region, please click here to choose your own region and download the most suitable firmware version.

https://www.tp-link.com/my/download/Archer-...1.html#Firmware

The file is C1200v1_eu_tm-up-1.0.0 Build 20180403 rel.22124_2018-04-03_14.13.08.bin, missing a "boot" compare with previous version, and reduced file size.

As it said support Tr069, but it is there for the previous firmware, just disable as default configuration.
So I guess it means enable by default? hmm.gif

Anyways, it will be helpful if someone compare and find out the different, as the router is shared with other people, no more flashing without thinking.
FYI, so far the previous version is stable, but weak on multiple download(1 p2p download is ok) and reboot itself per 2 weeks. notworthy.gif

EU beta firmware fixed it but I am not sure with TM/TIME firmware.  hmm.gif

Using latest TM firmware here.

Unsure for UPnP, but I had it disabled and the NAT-PMP port feature on µTorrent still working, so it should works for Bittorrent too.

For the UPnP, I had it enable and saw many P2P software that used by my housemate shown on it, did it count as working or? hmm.gif

hi , i am using tplink c1200 provided by tm but i encountered frequent disconnect which the internet symbol turns orange frequently, i would like to ask is it something wrong with the firmware ? i have a thought to buy a new router but i need to make sure is it wrong with the firmware. i called for tm technician to come but still the problem persist. should i flash EU firmware ? thanks

Ask tech check on their side and see who disconnect the connection, and it can be the fibre signal too over and causing disconnection.

Or the modem side got issues need to exchanged, check the c1200 log, should showing some clues on which one is the cause.

Also changing the router is recommended, this router like to reboot randomly, unless you want it to reboot in the middle of enjoying the internet, then nah...

Today is 7.7, better go grab one at discount price. wink.gif

Can't edit posts, I assume because I'm on a probation account.

Not sure what to censor.
I have also tried
SLAAC
Prefix delegation: Disabled
SLAAC+Stateless+DHCP
Both lead to getting ipv6 ip addresses, but test-ipv6.com still shows i cant connect to ipv6 websites.

Blame maxis? hmm.gif
With TM, sometimes the IPv6 is inaccessible to the Internet, need reconnect PPPoE to make it works again.

So, having a IPv6 address don't means it works.

How do I make a backup of the settings?

But, if you asking this level of question, I think you should not touch the router firmware, and get yourself a better router without this kind of issues(means the stupid reboot + corruption). icon_rolleyes.gif

Unless you already switched the main router, and want to fix this router to using it as extension router, then go ahead, and learn it. thumbsup.gif

Mostly useless comment on this buggy router. tongue.gif

For me, just getting NETIS DL4480V1 and it is good enough for 30 Mbps.

Very stable on the long runtime, running 1 months is not a issues(then TM will disconnect you lol), only if TM giving you a crappy non Huawei modem and causing this router's IPv6 disconnect like hell(if upgraded to DL4480V1_2.0.9e).

But once you connect to the internet, and the modem don't disconnect your IPv6, then you can have you mind calm.

Unless, you need a stronger WiFi router that can fight WiFi interference. laugh.gif

Hi ,

My c1200 is frozen and  only wps indicator light is on.

Cant access wireless or even reset it.

Please help

Consider purchase a new one?
If no, then renew your contract 2 years by calling TM and let them exchange for you, but I am very sure this is not the best solution, because they will give you a crappy NETIS router that can only handle until 100M. icon_rolleyes.gif
