hmm but i did not upgrade any video related drivers on the old laptop.

those using vista, you guys' score is 3.7 right for the graphics?

eh how come this is the thread #1? shouldnt the previous thread with 96 pages be the #1?  tongue.gif
*
Its the first Support Thread... The other one is just a XPS related thread... icon_rolleyes.gif

QUOTE(unknowndevices @ Apr 29 2007, 08:44 PM)
hmmm...from the pictures given...hardly for me to see the gaps actually... blush.gif
when you pressed those areas...it came a bit down is it? cool2.gif
or there isn't any movement happened?... hmm.gif

as for mine...got tiny/small gaps...but it seem more of just a made-up/design gaps... rolleyes.gif
caused mine never had experienced technician come to fix/repair...never experienced opened... sweat.gif

anyway...do update the XPS users list... icon_rolleyes.gif
day after would be your last day right?...do share the reports with us... wink.gif
all the best... smile.gif
*
In the end I decided to live with it, gaps and all... In a way, the gaps add to the ventilation of the XPS... Hahahaha... laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

And I'm not about to give my XPS up for another that might give me even more problems... Perfectionism does have its problems... And if any problems DO occur, I can always invoke CompleteCover and get them to repair/replace it... icon_rolleyes.gif

The namelist's have been updated, please state your name XPS owners and be added to the list!

There's a new (i think) nvidia geforce 7400 driver for windows xp at the dell support site but no new drivers for vista. bleh.

I checked other forums and it seems like the people there are getting a 3.6 score for their graphics too.

anyone with "the XPS wallpaper"... rolleyes.gif
mind to share or post the wallpaper here... cool2.gif

or maybe Eiraku can post it in the first page at any post... hmm.gif
cause...there might be someone "accidentally" deleted the wallpaper and wanted it... blush.gif
at least this thread can give a hand-of-help to them... icon_rolleyes.gif

Anyone of u using Intel Thermal Analysis to measure the temperature?

I'm getting the same (most of the time) temperature for both CPU 0 and CPU 1.

For my old xps, the temperature of those two CPU will always be different and it fluctuates a lot.

So I'm wondering if there's something wrong with this unit? (or the old one?)

Good new is, the temperature is usually at 47 or 48 (old one around 50+)
