In the end I decided to live with it, gaps and all... In a way, the gaps add to the ventilation of the XPS... Hahahaha... when you pressed those areas...it came a bit down is it?

And I'm not about to give my XPS up for another that might give me even more problems... Perfectionism does have its problems... And if any problems DO occur, I can always invoke CompleteCover and get them to repair/replace it...
