Anyone chose cheque as payment option? How long will they take to contact you to arrange cheque collection. I can't seem to track my order online after 24hrs.

Thanks mate... U've done a great job urself mantaining the W810i thread... icon_rolleyes.gif

Well, think of it this way... At least with the 6400, you won't get a headache staring at a highly reflective 12 inch screen all day long... A highly reflective 14 incher is miles better in NOT inducing headaches... sweat.gif

I'm a sadist, so its okay... laugh.gif

No problem... I don't mind at all... icon_rolleyes.gif

Aiseh, I just noticed something disturbing on my XPS... At right bottom part of the screen (the extreme end beside the right hinge), there's a very small but noticable gap in the upper part of the plastic and the lower part of the plastic (the part that has XPS engraved on it)...

And along the back part too, right above the battery. There's the same smallish gap from the left hand side of the battery (right after the AC connector) to the right side of the laptop (above the network connector and the screw beside it)...

The left side, the side with the AC connector is completely smooth, no gaps... Is there something really wrong with my XPS or is that just Dell quality assurance screwing up again? Sigh... sweat.gif

The problem is, I've grown quite attached to this XPS... And other than that slight gap problem, there's nothing else quite wrong on it... wub.gif

So guys, I have two more days left to return this baby for a replacement, what do you guys think? Stick with it, a few warts and all, or be extremely anal retentive and risk getting a replacement with an whole new potential set of problems to solve?

I'll put up pics later to show just what I'm talking about... icon_rolleyes.gif

I would like to add something here. Take note for all owners of Dell XPS M1210.

For those who wants to reinstall or reformat or downgrade to Windows XP or whatever, before doing anything please make sure you activate your bluetooth in your Windows before proceeding to your new installation. This is because if you fail to do this step, your new installation will fail fo recognize your bluetooth after that. The only solution then will be reinstalling on your Windows Vista and installing the driver and then reactivating it again. Funny how this bluetooth works. laugh.gif
