2018 model ua6800x still on sale, cheap.

They r all very similar.

Diff mainly with no. of hdmi, usb inputs and where they r located... side or back.

Android 8 or 9... if impt 2 u.

Edit:

Smart YouTube and Plex manage to turn on the HDR.
HDR Gamma Adjustment setting is available (no more greyed).
Display button also working on Remote control showing is HDR contest.

this tv is >2 years old, likely to be phased out soon.

no more software updates, i believe.

Finally playing full HDR in YouTube TV (YouTube for Android TV 2.10.15 ).....
Linked TV with phone and PC (Chromecast) and set highest display quolity in that devices.






Interesting that Device Info HW+ .apk ,displaying HDR as HDR10

Last only 2 days , Google Play Store updated YT to version 2.10.17 and back to square one...bt.709 only.

YouTube in HDR quality requires hardware (firmware) support for the ‘VP9 Profile2’ .

HDR10 is the common main priority use HDR format. The Device Info showing it correctly as they is no format call HDR.

Currently below is available HDR format for consumer.
- HDR10
- HDR10+
- HLG HDR
- Dolby Vision

Guys am I the only one having this problem with Twitch app, any way to fix it? Tried updating still the same

hi guys, any owners of 6800x/6500x face any issues with buzzing sound from the TV?

when TV is ON, you can hear buzzing sound from the back panel (not even playing any contents)

Astro TV app is beta stage it seems..any of sharp Android TV owners tested?

i hope at least one person from here will be invited to test.

but the list seems not to include ua6800x, android8.

only ue630x is on the list but it is android6, not 8.

does astro know these TV's?!

My Sharp TV 60UA6800X cannot assess the hompage of the android tv menu. How can I reset the TV in service menu?

do u u mean the homepage does not come on when u power on?

if yes, unplug the power and plug it back on.

if still nothing, yr TV needs sharp service.

Only can use the TV on HDMI 1, 2 or 3 watch TVbox and Astro only...Cannot to go the main page to use those androidtv apps like Netflix...I think need to reformat, but I didn’t save the firmware that I downloaded before. Anyone can share its firmware link or factory reset the TV in the service menu?

Just went to see at homepro at ioi city Mall. BK1X picture quality seems Abit darker for my liking. Even the sales person said this version macam downgrade instead of upgrade.

have u checked settings, network? is yr connection ok.

if not connected, sure the ATV will not work.... try reconnecting.

if not connected, check router... are other devices OK?

if router is OK, TV is connected, but tv apps dun work, pls contact for service... u paid for warranty, use it.

do not try to mess around with firmwares yrself in case u void warranty.

The electric shop came to check the TV. Said the remote control spoilt. May I know is it remote control under the warranty? If not, where can buy a new remote control? Still can pairing with a new remote?

it is time u contact sharp service.

maybe they replace free for u...
