Bought the newer model 60" 4TCBK1X for RM3200 with 5 years warranty from ESH. For older model, this is quite expensive.

this one is v messy...

becos there are now 3 group versions of playtv@unifi:

7.9.xxx, latest i think is 7.9.11 - these are for users still using old non android silver STB.
not sure anymore but this version used to work on my tv.

1.2.xx, latest is 1.2.17?... this one is meant for regular android devices, for those with white STB who have been migrated.

1.1.xx, latest is 1.1.10>... this one is for new subscribers given new black STB, ATV os.
this version apparently works on some ATV devices, doesn't on others.

it's such a mess now... some migrated, some semi, some no... and several old STBs, several app versions.

so, it depends which group u r in, but can try all the apk's if u wish.

i have stopped using the app on my TV, just use the old STB.

Hey guys, my TV decided to die now. Suddenly something seems to have blown inside like a fuse or what not. No lightning or whatsoever. Sharp hotline said they are closed until 31st.

Any idea what's gonna happen with my TV? Good thing I bought extended warranty.

1 . go to settings n check if it's unpaired, pair it.

2. change batteries.

the remote has this issue of unpairing for no reason sometimes.

some buttons not working only

isit the "back" button ? I'm experiencing the same sometimes.

There's Puffin Browser in the Play Store. Works well with ATV interface. If you still want Chrome, you need to sideload the APK.

You need to set HDMI Type Selection to Full. You can find the setting under TV Input/Output.

Only 1 HDMI port supports HDR. You needs to try 1 by 1, I forgot which one.

Other option that is way much cheaper is buy a learning remote. It only cost me RM 15. It will copy 100% original remote. But the problem is you need an original remote for it to copy.

I always kept my original remote in a very secure box, in case me or anyone would like to copy. But, i will charge much much cheaper than RM 200+ for the cost I need to bear for my insanely expensive original remote I bought in the first place..hehe

U mean Sharp remote control can control both ur Sharp TV and Astro? Im confuse the typo coz the 'v' is 2 flights below 't'. Anyway, anxious to know Sharp remote can be programme to learn Astro remote codes.

My tv become slow to on. My guess because its 1 years already...so i reformat.eveything went normal.but after install vpn become slow again..im using nordvpn..anyone facing same issue with me?
